Watch Out for "Quiet Hours"

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The phone itself works fine, but if you are on the cordless part and accidentally hold down the # key too long, you set it to "quiet hours" which means it doesn't ring and goes straight to voice mail. If you don't realize this, and just let go of the # key and don't set it, it is automatically set "forever." And you can only "unset" it from the base unit. And since you don't know why it has stopped ringing without a great deal of research, this can go on for days and days. Ridiculous way to set up a feature! Beware!

Can't see and volume to low.

Good for the elderly

Of particular value is the dialing stand which works very well for my 102 year old aunt. She has poor vision and needs the "old fashion" base unit to dial with.
