Customers are saying

Customers love the Bamboo Fineline Stylus for its ease of use, particularly for seniors, and its compatibility with various devices. Many appreciate its affordable price and long battery life, while some users find the accuracy and drawing capabilities excellent. However, concerns have been raised regarding its durability, palm rejection functionality, and occasional lag.

I use this on an IPAD with the Bamboo Paper App. When it works correctly, its great. However it skips A LOT. letters end up with missing spaces and you'll end up having to re-write things several times. It is frustrating to the point of returning the pen.

Please note, this Fineline Stylus Black CS610CK works on my Android Phone (Samsung S8 -- T-mobile network phone) It pairs via Bluetooth (charge the stylus for 2+ hours, then turn it on, press button on pen until blue light flases) Then scan with Samsung S8 Bluetooth ON RESULT: my S8 phone found, connected, and uses this stylus perfectly! 1. I use this Bluetooth connected stylus with my Samsung S8 and my iPad! It works great on my Samsung S8 Phone 2. I bought a second --> Wacom Bamboo Fineline Stylus Black CS610CK (3rd generation) just for my SAMSUNG S8 Android Phone!!!!!!!!!! RESULT: For me, it is a LIFE SAVER!!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy it works for both devices. Purchased in June, 2017: Wacom Bamboo Fineline Stylus Black CS610CK (says 3rd generation on bottom of box near UPC/Barcode) - Purchased @ Best Buy.

Best of it's class, not as accurate as Pencil

I've tried all the Bamboo stylus for iPad since the first generation. This 3rd gen Fineline has the best form factor among all. In terms of accuracy, it's pretty much the same accuracy as Fineline 2nd gen on the iPad Air 2. If you want to compare to iPad Pro series, forget it, since Fineline is designed to mimic fingers, so the latency is depending on the iPad touch hardware. You can never compare any stylus for non iPad Pro with the Pencil in terms of accuracy. Pencil is the best, but it is also the most expensive. If you have iPad Pro, use Pencil. Else, Fineline 3rd Gen

I bought an iPad Pro for notes and eTexts for my college classes. A lot of my classes allow me to takes notes on my iPad making it easier to keep my notes together. I needed a new stylus and remember reading that this one worked with iPad and iPhone. It was easy to setup and I was on my way to writing notes on my iPad. Another benefit that I did not expect was I used it with my HP Envy x360 laptop. To my surprise, it worked!! I was able to use it to write!! I tried it with OneNote and as long as you go to the Draw tab, click Draw with Finger, it'll work!

Bought this stylus for work to use out on a construction project to mark up plans and to use Ipad without having to take off gloves. Setup was easy and works just as described.

not as "precise" for note taking as Apple Pencil

Pro: micro usb charger connecting wire , twist on off power which retracts the nib, LED light for indicating power & connectivity, ergonomic pyramid satin finish for less slippery grip, good weight feels like an expensive pen and not like a light skinny plastic hotel round pen. Cons: Palm rejection only works with Wacom Bamboo Paper App and doesn't consistently work with the other mentioned "compatible" Apps. This means the Wacom Fineline 3 intermittently skips like a pen that is running out of ink when your hand is resting on the screen of my iPad. The Apple Pencil original doesn't ever skip & 100% precise however feels too skinny, round, zero grip, & need to purchase third party adaptor to charge with a usb cube. The Apple Pencil writes on "notes" which is free. The Wacom Fineline 3 doesn't work on "notes" unfortunately. The nib is "floaty" loose feel (has a tap tap noise as you write ) which doesn't feel like a normal pen & Apple Pencil feels like a solid nib which doesn't make the hollow tap noise.

    I wish this was better

I bought this pen to use on my Ipad for editing pictures as well as taking notes. After you have to charge it, the charge doesn't last and now the pen won't charge at all. So the only way I can use it is when it is plugged in which defeats the purpose of having it all together. So I am unable to use it.

    Wacom has horrible support.

The way Wacom writes its apps is sad. Rather than white listing compatible iOS devices, they should blacklist incompatible devices. If they did new iPads like the one released last month could use this stylus. The iPad has the same screen as older supported iPads. Even Wacom's Support told me to return the stylus. They had no clue when or if Wacom's Apps would be updated.
