Fiber tip is soft and won't damage the touch screen. It may be the screen sensitivity of my Surface Pro, but some movements across the screen need to be held more firmly against the screen to register.

Best Active Stylus I've Used

I'm very much a hobbyist digital artist, however I read great reviews about this stylus on sites that specialize in testing products for digital artwork and decided it was worth a try. I have used 3 other active styluses. This one has the best tip options, the best detection distance and the by far the least amount of erroneous or missed strokes. I'm very happy with it.
