I'm writing this review to let others know that this digital pen/smart stylus works with the HP - ENVY x360 2-in-1 15.6" touch-screen laptop (AMD Ryzen 5 - 8GB Memory - 256GB SSD - Nightfall Black, model 15M-EE0013DX). My son received the laptop for Christmas, and I took a chance buying this digital pen with it since part of the appeal of the computer is using the device in tablet mode to write or draw, either for fun or middle school. I say took a chance because it's difficult to find any information about what digital pens work with this particular model of laptop. The Wacom site and some reviews here suggest it works with HP Envy laptops, but not necessarily this model. Some online forums ultimately led me to believe it would work, and I can confirm it does out of the box. (I found some online conversations saying you need to change the compatibility settings of the pen by pressing the two buttons on the side of it, which the pen instructions explain, but in fact the default setting was right for this laptop.) The pen has only seen a few hours of use at this point, so I can't speak to its longevity, and I also can't speak to how well it will work for advanced artistry or any specific functions. But again, my purpose here is to note that it works with the laptop noted, and it seems to work well, so I suspect it will nicely meet others' general needs. As an example of use, my son and I tested it out by drawing some pictures in Paint 3D, a drawing program that comes with Windows 10, and it worked very well. Ultimately, I think my son will get some good use out of it with his new laptop, and it feels like a quality product out of the box.

I was not sure it would work with my laptop but I bought it anyway bc of Best Buy return policy, and it works quite well with my laptop and I am very happy with my purchase.

So fun and easy to use!! it was very easy to set up and works great, would definitely recommend for digital surface artists!

Didn't work for the chrome book. Had to return it. It is a good stylus though. Worth for the money.

Does what is advertised. Works well with Clip Studio Paint and Krita (need to change some settings to properly work in Krita).

Honestly... we have had this pen for 11 months now and gosh darn it... have not had a reason to use it nor have we figured out (haven't attempted to) figure out how to even use it. Therefore, as much as I thought it'd be a cool thing to use on the tablet or laptop, we have not even taken it out of the box. Sorry that we can not give an honest review of it's performance. :o(

This is great for the new laptop I bought. And taking notes on the screen or drawing or even while I’m doing my readings online for school to highlight points. A little pricy but worth it

The most wonderful thing I could have bought for my schooling needs. It gets the job done and doesnt need to charge because it runs on non-rechargeable batteries. The set up was super easy. I just needed to click the pairing button on the pencil and it worked immediately with my laptop. It took some time getting used to the feel of it as its very slippery in my hand because of how smooth it is. The only downside is that it does sometimes feel a bit heavy to write with. But definitely worth the purchase. I also got mine "open-box" and it works like new.

Got it to be able to write on my laptop for college. Works great, easy to set up. The only thing I would prefer to be different is to have it be chargeable rather than battery-operated.

Love this pen! A lot cheaper than the original. The only thing is it disconnects every once in a while

Phenomenal tablet pen for my HP 2-in-1 laptop. Very accurate, easy to use, and efficient. Setup is simple and tips are replaceable. Definitely worth the investment for work.

Bought to do some drawing on my new ZenBook. Great feel. Writes smooth. And has cool features. Lost a star because compared to the Apple Pen it has a slight delay

Perfect Stylus for my Surface Go 2. For some reason when I first linked it to my Surface, I didn't realize that I'd done so and was frustrated, but don't fret, it actually was working great and I was just not realizing it. I really like the feel and weight of this stylus as well as it's functionality.

The bamboo pen wasn’t my first option with the initial visit but after I was informed on the quality and comparability of the pen with my envy computer I gave it a try- now I have it attached to my lanyard lol The only issue I had was with finding the batteries. Quadruple A’s lol- they can be found at CVS LOL

I purchased this product Wacom - Bamboo Ink Smart Stylus for Windows Ink; 2nd Generation - Gray and used almost for month. Setup was very easy. Install the battery came along with it and immediately my laptop HP - ENVY x360 recognized its new partner and it is ready to go. It is lightweight and very easy to use.

This active pen works very nicely with my ASUS laptop. I really like the fact that it uses the AAAA battery rather than the built in rechargeable one, which tends to have a much shorter life. I also like the feel, size, and weight.
