I asked what would work with my computer. The girl gave me this. It is not on the list online I could not register. Took back after 14 short return policy ugh. Got gift card

I'm sure this is a great pen for working on new second or third generation touch screen laptops, but seeing as how mine wasn't... it didn't perform as advertised & if i have to place blame, it would be on the techs that recommended it as opposed to the manufacturer. oh well, maybe next time.

I got this pen as an open box (excellent condition) for half the price and I couldn't be more pleased. It is even better than I expected it to be. Works great for my Acer Spin 5 laptop. It seems to be hard to find a decently priced pen that is for something other than Apple tablets and the like, so I lucked out in finding this product (I did some research). I have had zero issues with it since I purchased several weeks ago. Writes great and you don't really need to purchase extra tips to get a desired result. With OneNote you can alter between different line thicknesses. You can also just press the pen harder to the screen to get a thicker line, write lighter-handed for a thinner line. For people into art, the pen is also compatible with Sketchbook--it's pretty impressive.

Unfortunately it only works when it wants to. The signal is spotty at best and sometimes it doesn't work at all. I attributed to a low battery or an accidental press of the protocol switch; however, this does not seem to be the case.

Returned item to storeb/c couldn't use it w/ laptop.

its just a optional . You can survive without it.

I originally purchased this smart stylus for my tablet and it failed on the last day of the return period. Exchanged it for a new one, and it failed after a month. Not sure if the store I purchased it from had a bad batch or what... but not worth it if it fails that quickly (verified the pen was in the right mode as the mode is changed by pressing the two buttons together)

The directions to set it up were not accurate. Directions mentioned a button on top but the stylus only had the button on side. It would not connect to either of the 2 devices that the product said it was compatible with. I had to return product.
