Constant lag of the Wacom universal Bamboo pen

This pen is awful. I'm an artist that uses Clip Studio Paint and I needed a pen badly. I bought this pen in October of 2020 and once I started using it lagged. I searched multiple times on tutorials for how to get it working just in case it was only mine, but nothing useful came up. I thought that it needed a battery, and its battery wasn't easy to find. Once I got a new battery for it thinking the problem would be solved, I was wrong. The pen still lags and stops. Nothing I did could fix the lag. I have to sometimes unscrew the top, shake it, and lightly hit it to work. I will say it is a waste of 50 bucks, not worth buying it if it's going to act like that. The only good thing is that it is actually compatible with CSP. Other than that, it was a waste of money.

This pen works really well. I've used it with my computer and has worked okay so far. The pen does not have direct compatibility with my pc so I can't connect it through Bluetooth which means it probably is more accurate if it does connect. In any case, this is a perfect pen for someone who's looking for something that would work on any computer that allows windows ink workspace.

I didn’t know about the brand as I’ve never tried it before but after using it for about a month now I love it! I use it everyday and it is very lightweight and easy to use! Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a magic pencil!

    Excellent stylus for HP X360

I bought an open-box HP X360 13" 2-in-1 laptop that did not include a pen. I originally wanted an HP pen but at the recommendation of a BestBuy employee I purchased the Wacom - Bamboo Ink Smart Stylus. It feels great in the hand and writes well. It allows me to take full advantage of the capabilitities of my 2-in-1 laptop. I recommend it to anyone. It should work with other systems that use Microsoft Ink.

Works great with my hp envy x360 laptop. I didn’t even have to pair it or download any drivers, it worked right out of the box. I just wish I could customize the buttons. It works well with photoshop and illustrator.

Wacom - Bamboo Ink Smart Stylus for Windows Ink; 2nd Generation is a great pen for my Windows surface. Pen is so easy to connect: insert battery (included in pen purchase)...done :) The pen cursor travels around the screen while my pen hovers over the screen synched perfectly. When drawing, the marks I am making appear directly below the tip of my pen, unlike many other stylists, where the mark is a few centimeters to the side of your pen placement. The Bamboo is much more accurate. I do not think I have to turn the pen on and off, at least I have not done so thus far and it has not yet run out of battery.

Due to the wording that it works with all windows 10 pen enabled computers, I bought this for my HP 27” ALL-IN-ONE, which it does not work with, I cant guve ut full 5 stars. I'll start by saying I am not trch savvy at all, so of course after I was unable to get it to connect and did extensive research, I learned that my computer does not work with that type of stylus, even though it says you can connect a pen. Otherwise it works great with all of my devices that ARE actually compatible. It says nothing on the packaging about working with phones and it does work on my android LG V60 Thinq, which was a pleasant surprise. The process of finding out what it does/does not work with was the other reason for the 4 star rating. I also wish it camr with some sort of case or sleeve to keep it in.

Nice design and straightforward functionality. Price point is what brings down the overall product. Unless you're in design or art, for the average consumer like me its completely unnecessary. That would be the only reason I would consider returning it. If it was even $20 lower it would nail the coffin right on the head.

Good pen, poor compat with certain laptops

This pen works really good on laptops that have good stylus integration. However, both of my laptops, which were an HP and a Lenovo, use some sort of technology that makes it almost impossible to draw diagonal lines. They always end up squiggly. Do some research on the topic, it's almost inevitable regardless of the pen. But I do wish their compatibility notes mentioned something like that.

It works great I've had it for about a month. no issues. The one thing I don't like is that it takes batteries but that's not a major issue the HP pen also takes batteries so its normal I guess. It worked immediately on my laptop took a few minutes to work the setting for the pen but nothing to difficult. I don't use mine a crazy amount because I do have a wacom tablet I prefer, but when I need to draw on the screen this does the job.

This pairs well with my new Dell Inspiron 2 in 1 laptop. It’s so much fun to tap the screen with the pen instead of using the mouse or just your finger. I’ve done a little drawing on the Dell with it and although it’s not perfect, it’s definitely a cool tool to have around. I highly recommend for anyone who enjoys sketch-noting/drawing on their laptop.

Pen Works Well with Windows, No Replacement Tips

This device works well with Windows-based laptops with built-in Windows Ink functionality. The sensitivity is good, and there are different levels of pressure available when using this with inking programs. Please review the compatibility list on Wacom's website, as some of the features of the pen do not work with all laptops, though the core functionality is maintained. Having had an older generation pen from a few years back with a separate laptop, I was disappointed that Wacom no longer includes a small case with replacement/different tips for the pen to give it different feels. Previous models did, but you have to order these from Wacom (also disappointed that Best Buy does not sell these). Thus why I give this 4 stars instead of 5. If using this with Windows, you'll have to follow the instructions to change the mode from use with a Wacom touchpad to a Windows Ink mode. It's quick & easy to do, but know it has to be done otherwise it will not work. Note also that this is the model that uses a replaceable battery and is not rechargeable like another model of the Bamboo.

We purchased this pen to use with the laptop we got for my son to attend college. He loves having this option and it makes taking notes and using the laptop during lectures to hi-lite important details a lot easier. I would highly recommend this as a bonus to anyone with a touchscreen laptop.
