The nibs on this stylus gets detached too easily. This is the 3rd stylus I've had to buy for school. I have purchased replacement nibs and they did not fit. I expected a better quality for the price.

Pros: •Works instantly in Windows 11 after putting in the battery and pushing the button. The pen icon is visible in the task bar and right clicking shows menu and settings. In the menu, there is Whiteboard and 2 others. In the settings, you can add Word and One Note and Bamboo Print by checking them. I opened Adobe Photoshop app and I was also able to use the pen in finely selecting/deselecting the subject. There could be more functions to discover. Cons:●On notetaking, you need a constant pressure for the write to be completely consistent or fluent. The Wacom website recommends installing the Wacom driver so you can adjust the pressure sensitivity of the tip which I haven't done yet. But the pen works right out with pen support in Windows 11. Also, the pen docks to the HP at the right side quite stably while you are on the desk. It appears to hold not quite reliably if you are moving your laptop or if you're using your laptop in other positions like you would when sitting and leaning on a tree and your laptop on your knees. It also seems not to have a battery indicator even on Windows to warn you if the battery is already weak so it pays to have a schedule to change or charge the battery. The site says over 5 months with Wacom AES mode and over 2 months in MPP mode. Overall, it is a great pen or stylus short of being perfect.

I’ve been using the Wacom Bamboo Ink (2nd Gen) for a few weeks now, and overall, it’s a very capable and comfortable stylus for Windows Ink-enabled devices.
✅ Pros:
Great Compatibility: Works seamlessly with most Windows 10/11 touchscreens. I used it on my Surface laptop and had no pairing issues.
Natural Writing Experience: The pressure sensitivity feels responsive, and the pen glides smoothly across the screen. It's great for note-taking, sketching, and annotating.
Comfortable Design: The hexagonal barrel feels good in the hand, like a traditional pencil. It’s well-balanced and lightweight, making it easy to use for long sessions.
Customizable Buttons: Two side buttons can be configured for shortcuts, which is handy for productivity and creative tasks.
Replaceable Tips: Comes with multiple nibs, so you can swap depending on your writing or drawing style.
⚠️ Cons:
No Bluetooth or Eraser Function: Unlike some other styluses (like the Surface Pen), there’s no eraser on the back or Bluetooth functionality. Not a dealbreaker, but worth noting.
Battery Powered: Uses a AAAA battery instead of being rechargeable. Battery life is solid, but a rechargeable option would be more convenient.
Bottom Line:
If you're looking for a reliable and affordable stylus for a Windows Ink device, the Wacom Bamboo Ink (2nd Gen) is a solid choice. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of premium models, but it gets the job done well, especially for writing, sketching, and general productivity.

Bamboo Ink Smart Sylus - a good value

Great for my Lenovo laptop. The stylus that came with the laptop was very small and required inconvenient repeated docking to restore connection (which was lost frequently). This stylus is less easy to lose, has a better feel in the hand (think Apple pencil), and the assignable buttons are a time saver. Using this for data entry in an electronic health record software has real advantages over a mouse because of the ability to instantly touch the relevant area on the touchscreen rather than having to mouse around to the correct area before clicking. I recommend it.

I got this stylus to replace a first generation Bamboo stylus. The set-up was incredibly easy - just insert the included AAAA battery and start writing on the screen. No pairing required. This was a vast departure from the first generation pen that required syncing via Bluetooth and often times needed repairing because my laptop stopped recognizing it. The design on this pen is also better because it doesn’t have the flimsy button on top of the cap anymore. The first gen did have a more luxurious feel with the slightly rubberized grip and texture and triangular shape to prevent rolling off a table. But the ease of use of the second gen pen highly outweighs the aesthetic differences. I was debating getting the Plus Stylus for the added features and aesthetic upgrades, but I don’t think it would’ve been worth paying double for those couple things. This stylus seems more than capable for my use.
Writing on screen is smooth and precise. It makes my school laptop so much more functional because I can now annotate, highlight and write notes directly on my lectures.
I would highly recommend this Bamboo stylus for anyone who has a touchscreen laptop.

I recently picked up the Wacom Bamboo Ink Smart Stylus (2nd Generation) in Gray, and it has been a welcome addition to my digital toolkit. This stylus is designed specifically for Windows Ink, and here's what I've found so far:
Design & Build:
The Bamboo Ink stylus boasts a sleek and modern design in a stylish gray color. It's lightweight and comfortable to hold, making it easy to use for extended periods. The build quality is decent, though it feels a bit plasticky compared to some premium stylus options.
Compatibility:
One of the standout features of this stylus is its wide compatibility with Windows devices. It's designed to work seamlessly with a variety of Windows Ink-enabled devices, such as 2-in-1 laptops and tablets. The setup is straightforward, and I had no trouble connecting it to my Windows device.
Performance:
The stylus provides a responsive and precise writing and drawing experience. With a variety of pressure levels, it can accommodate different drawing and writing styles, making it suitable for a range of creative tasks. The palm rejection feature is effective, ensuring your hand doesn't interfere with your work.
Button Customization:
The Bamboo Ink stylus features two customizable buttons that can be programmed to perform specific functions or shortcuts within Windows Ink. This is a handy feature for streamlining your workflow and making the stylus work best for your needs.
Battery Life:
The stylus is powered by a replaceable AAAA battery, which is included in the package. Battery life is quite good, and I haven't had to replace the battery frequently, even with regular use.
Overall Experience:
The Wacom Bamboo Ink Smart Stylus (2nd Generation) is a solid choice for anyone looking to enhance their Windows Ink experience. It offers precise performance and compatibility with a range of Windows devices, and the customizable buttons are a practical addition.
In conclusion, while the build quality could be improved, the stylus does its primary job very well, and the compatibility with a wide array of Windows devices is a significant advantage. If you're looking for an affordable and effective stylus for your Windows Ink-enabled device, the Wacom Bamboo Ink Smart Stylus is definitely worth considering.

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this little Bamboo stylus totally surprised me—in a good way. It’s light, responsive, and glides across my tablet like it’s made for it (probably because it is). Makes sketching and note-taking feel way more natural. Battery lasts a long time, and it just feels solid. If you’re thinking about it, just do it—worth every penny. Happy with the purchase and I’ve already recommended it to a few friends who draw or journal.
Let’s just say it made my screen time a lot more satisfying.⭐PICK-ME-BESTBUY⭐

Wacom Bamboo Ink Stylus Review

I've had the pen for a few weeks now (Got the Wacom pen with an HP 360 Envy) and it's been working really well. However, there are sometimes where it doesn't pick up the input. I'll click something on the computer with the pen and it will just decide not to work anymore. I've been able to resolve this every time it has happened, but I'm not sure if the tip has worn down already (which would be odd since it's only been a few weeks, but it's not really an issue since the tip can be replaced easily for a cheap price) or if that's an issue from the pen itself. (Could also be battery, but idk) If it is a battery issue that can also be fixed. FYI, I've been using the pen for digital art, writing, and "quality of life improvements," like clicking and scrolling. The pen works very well for all of these tasks. It is also very easy to set up with the computer.

This was an easy pen to link up to my laptop I have the lenovo yoga 7i and it works perfectly with it my only issue is I wish the button to connect it and erase was higher up or something I'm constantly pressing it while using it since I write with my fingers further down but other than that great product.

I’ve been using the Bamboo Ink 2nd Gen for a few weeks and it works really well for note-taking and light sketching. The pen feels solid and comfortable to hold, and the pressure sensitivity is smooth once you adjust the settings.
Setup was simple, and it connects quickly with my Windows laptop. My only small complaint is that the tip feels a bit slippery on some screens, and it takes a bit of practice to get the pressure just right.
Overall, it’s a great stylus for everyday use — accurate, well-built, and reliable.

The tracking works well with my lenovo laptops. No real complaints other than the buttons being somewhat easy to accidentially click (and a quadruple a battery) but that was easy to just adjust grip to avoid. Has popped up on every operating system on my thinkpad (various linux distros). Overally fairly happy with it (i do primarily use it for rough sketching projects and some note taking).

Best pen for the price. Its an older pen that uses a AAA battery to operate but that doesnt prevent it from lasting a significantly long time in etween uses. Its ready to right without touching the two included button the moment its near the screen. Its well balanced and weighted with the battery. Seriously dont need to look elsewhere, this works and works well

This pen is great for 2-in-1 laptops!
Previously, I’ve owned the 1st generation and miss the different points that came with it; however, for this generation expect only one point with the option of buying more online.
I use this pen mainly for OneNote which makes it possible to organize notes and of course to save the planet.
The benefits is that you no longer have to carry multiple colored pens to take notes on paper (took a lot of space on my backpack) when you can have multiple pen colors to select on OneNote app and get taken away by this amazing pen! The pen is programmed to have the bottom button to erase things and the top button to lasso select in case you would like to drag a portion of your notes somewhere rather than rewriting the whole thing. Overall it is a good buy, go buy it if you own a 2-in-1 laptop and use it for OneNote!

This though screen pen is a great addition to my laptop accessories. It's very easy to use and provides a smooth and accurate touch experience. The pen is lightweight and comfortable to hold, making it perfect for extended use. The pen's tip is also very durable, and I haven't experienced any wear and tear even after using it for a while. I also appreciate the pen's compatibility with a variety of devices, including laptops and tablets. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend the Waycom touchscreen pen to anyone looking for a reliable and high-quality pen for their touchscreen devices.

I have never had a touch screen laptop before, so, this is my first time using this type of a writing tool. I have nothing to judge it with other than a regular stylus pen, which, of course, is very different than this pen. I am still getting used to writing on my new “tablet” without making smudges with my hand. I can say it does make very clear and concise marks right where you want them. It works nicely for checking off boxes and such. I’m sure as I work with it, I will be pleased with it. I am not sure why there are 2 buttons on the side of the pen. There were not any instructions in the box to explain what they were for. That would be helpful for a newbie such as me.

The pressure 4096 is great. My ASUS Px13 (when working in Krita) also seems to be able to detect pen rotation when I'm using it which is weird since it's not an advertised feature. Not a complaint but it is a neat little tidbit.
The unreliable detection, not so great. There are plenty of times where it would simply discontinue a line as I'm working on illustrations. Sometimes it would take restarting the entire laptop to get it to connect reliably so I'm not quite sure what that's all about.
Battery life. It has one, somewhere. There are no indicators to what % it's at whatsoever. It died randomly once so I always have one fully charged AAAA that I keep around in the event it happens again.
Ergonomics are kind of terrible since it's a perfect cylinder with buttons on one side so I made my own grip to make sure that those buttons are always in a predictable place instead of having to look down or accidentally pressing it with other parts of my hand. Also, no magnet mounts; just that little clip like a traditional pen. Weird design choices.
It's a pen, it kind of works, but I'd like something better.

The Wacom Bamboo Ink Smart Stylus Review

The Wacom Bamboo Ink Smart Stylus for Windows Ink, 2nd Generation, in Gray, earns high marks in my book for its impressive functionality and compatibility with Windows Ink. The stylus seamlessly integrates with Windows devices, offering a smooth and precise writing and drawing experience. Its ergonomic design provides a comfortable grip, enhancing overall usability. The only reason I deducted a star is the non-rechargeable nature, relying on cell batteries. While this choice ensures extended usage, a rechargeable feature would have been more eco-friendly. Nevertheless, the Wacom Bamboo Ink Smart Stylus stands out for its performance, making it an excellent tool for digital creators and Windows Ink enthusiasts.
