The One for a pen and paper guy

I have a pile of Wacom tablets. Up until now they all have me the same problem... to see what I'm drawing, I needed to look away from where my hand was to a monitor. The Wacom - One solves that problem for me. This Wacom tablet is WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) like most of the artwork I've done most of my life. It takes a little work to get it hooked up, but it is worth the effort to see what I'm doing underneath my pen stroke! The only disappointment for me was that it still had the flimsy cloth cover (no padding) that my cheaper Wacoms all came with. So, I had to buy an iPad sleeve to keep it safe from damage.

Very straightforward and quick to get up and running. The viewable screen area is a good size and the overall look and feel is good, even if it doesn't appear as crisp as an LCD monitor. Probably my biggest complaint is the cord clutter that it creates, but that seems to be the case with most drawing tablets. Another potential downside is the lack of buttons/function keys, but I've seen plenty of arguments for and against those, so I don't personally see that as a dealbreaker.

Connection requires a HDMI port. How many PCs or laptop do you know that has an extra HDMI port?

The tablet alone is not functional; it requires connection to a computer. This was not immediately apparent to me. Moreover, the setup instructions and art software programs are additional downloads that necessitate a subscription. However, the tablet does offer a trial period. Lastly, the drawing functionality may require some acclimatization.

I got this to be a whiteboard device when collaborating with others. It does this function well. I'm considering buying more for remote workers needing to collaborate with whiteboard drawings. The good: Lightweight. Folds flat. Accurate, moreso then a typical touch screen. The bad: No touch input options at all, like on the Intuos series from Wacom. The screen is somewhat dim, but still very usable in an office environment. The cables are obnoxious. USB-C connector to the tablet, that you then must connect to your laptop's HDMI, USB data, then a high output USB power adapter for power.

Not the worst but definitely not the best. Colors are strange compared to my phone and computer but nothing my style can over come. However, the cords are the worst I’ve ever seen, breaking within WEEKS of purchase. I’ve refurbished this product twice within the year when my intuos pro was never refurbished along with my bamboo and intuois medium. Along with its connector port being so bad it’s almost embarrassing to walk up to people saying it broke AGAIN. It cracks easily I dropped it on my carpet and it looks like I punched it but the pressure is still a charm. If you are looking for nothing but pressure and screen this is a good fit but cords, color accuracy, flexibility, and to on that you’d hope to see in another tablet I would highly not recommend. Other than these cons, the pressure is an absolute charm and sadly that’s it for this tablet. Would highly not recommend for someone using this as a job due to it being so easily breakable it puts apple to shame. But hobbies and rare use I bet this would be good.

This is my first drawing tablet that I have purchased. I've bought this in June of 2021 and so far, it's amazing. I love it and the pen to the screen is smooth and nice to draw on. To me, it kind of feels like I am drawing on paper. It has a quick reaction when you are drawing or whatever you're doing, has buttons that you can configure in the Wacom app on your computer. Just so ya'll know, it isn't touch screen so you can't use your finger to scroll or draw, it's only able to with the pen. Overall, a 10/10
