The blades try to pull the hair out of my neck rather than trim it. With a guard on it works as advertised, without; brace yourself.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't know why the other reviewers had such a hard time with this thing, but I've had mine a year and it still works great, still has sharp blades and still hold a charge (although not as long as it did on day one). I use it 2-3 times a week to shave my head and face and it's great. I used to have a full-size Wahl corded trimmer, and this thing blow it out of the water in performance... and it's so light and easy to maneuver! My only gripe is the durability... the paint (chrome) started chipping within a month and some of the attachments broke pretty quickly. Otherwise it's solid!

Does the Job

The attachments mean that it can do a variety of things, and it can last a while on the charge. It's not precise enough to get a really close shave on the face, but it does the job well enough as a trimmer/clipper.
