I recently decided to "upgrade" from my Gillette All-Purpose Styler after having it for 2 years. Was very excited to move try out this Trimmer (especially since it came with a charger and was eco-friendly - i.e. I didn't have to keep buying batteries). Having any kind of good expectations for this trimmer was my first mistake... Do yourself a favor and just never buy this product... First of all - it's cheap. It FEELS cheap. I spent $20 for the Gillette trimmer and thought THAT was cheap. Paying $30+ for this product is RIDICULOUS. ***NOTE: I know this product is now on sale and is going for a cheaper price. If it were me, I wouldn't pay $5 for this crap. Don't waste your time. Second - This product LITERALLY falls apart. I would go to trim my beard, shave my face, etc. and the top would just pop right off. When you go to switch heads (i.e. from trimmer to buzzer to any of the other 5 faces this trimmer has, it would loosen the top. So guess what? Next time you shave that sucker is coming right off immediately and you have to hold the top down. Just ridiculous and poor quality. Third - THE BATTERY LIFE SUCKS. Again, was pumped to move from a battery-requiring trimmer to a rechargeable trimmer. Boy was I wrong... I would charge this trimmer for hours, even DAYS... The longest this trimmer has EVER lasted me was 20 minutes max. It would average 5-10 minutes. Not even kidding I got halfway through a shave and it died (again... takes hours to charge) so I was left with half of a beard. Had to use my wife's razor and straight shave the rest of my face. Will never forget that. Coming full circle - just save yourself the pain and regret and buy Gillette. OR - pay for a nicer brand. Whatever you do - don't buy Wahl. This was the first and last Wahl experience I will ever have. Good luck all!
