The smaller one requires batteries, but he bigger one doesn't. I purchased this product in hopes of using it to shave my head but it didn't do the trick. I guess its okay if you want a regular haircut.

We purchased them to keep his hair cut (bald) in between visits to the barbershop. Unfortunately, I had to returned them because they didn’t cut close at all.

I should’ve known it was returned. Anyway, upon opening it a month later I discovered that the charging cord was missing. I am no longer in the return window. Lesson learned. Check your items before leaving the store!

Wahl makes the best clippers but I have learned you get what you pay for, do yourself a favor and spend the extra money. Just look for a sale and you won’t regret the purchase!

When adjusting the lever to adjust the length setting it would catch on the side of the case and for that price point I would think the workmanship would be a little higher quality.
