This will allow the solar charger to harvest solar energy to keep your doorbell charged. Please know that our solar charger, if placed in maximum sunlight exposure, can significantly prolong the battery life of your Ring doorbell and eliminate doorbell downtime due to charging. We do recommend that you charge your Ring Doorbell to 100% before installation to ensure maximum charging efficiency.
Please also note that the charging speed varies according to sunlight exposure (direct vs. partial). Therefore, it will charge 1% of the battery every 2 to 5 hours.

Never feeling scared again

I never even knew about a solor panel to charge the ring. So glad Best Buy thinks about you even when you don't even realize it.
