Posted .o us. We are sorry to hear that you had difficulties with the Solar Panel for Ring Spotlight/ Stick Up Camera . Try charging the battery to 100%, as well as checking the solar panel connection is clear of any debris and is securely connected to the Cam. Keep in mind, the Solar Panel needs a few hours of direct sunlight per day to charge as expected.
Please ensure you have done the following:
1. Unplug and reinsert the solar panel charging cable. Make sure that the connection is snug tight.
2. Make sure that your solar panel is placed in maximum sunlight exposure and is not obstructed by trees, buildings, or other obstacles.
3. Make sure that your camera is not in temperatures below freezing. For safety reasons, your camera battery cannot charge in temperatures below 32°F (0° C).
4. Keep the battery of your camera at 100% prior to connecting it to the solar panel. Note that the Solar Panel is designed to provide trickle charging to keep your camera battery charged, not to charge your camera battery from low to full.
5. Reduce your camera usage for a day or two and note your camera’s battery level. Heavy usage of your camera can drain the camera battery faster than the solar panel can recharge it, especially with poor sun exposure.
Please also note that unlike any other cameras, when using a solar panel, Ring won't show whether it’s charging or not. If there is high traffic, it consumes more power, so you might think it’s not charging at all.

Stopped working

Would have been happy if it lasted atleast 3years. cant find anything on the warranty

Not working for me

I had the geek squad come back to check and was advised it's possibly based on the location. I also spoke with ring who advised it's working correctly but it clearly isn't if the battery continues to die. The purpose of the panel is to keep me from climbing a ladder but this isn't working.

Not worth it

Terrible

Does not work

From a full charged battery to dead in 28 days. That’s about EXACTLY how long my batter lasts without a solar panel. We have readjusted the position a few times and have found 0 success.

A must have!!!!!!!!!!!!

It got old changing batteries so I decided to invest in 2 solar panels. Best investment made! Easy to install and they work great. After a months use, batteries have not gone below 93% with all the notifications and viewing I get. Camera's charge daily to 100%. Now I have 3 batteries that stay on the charger! $90 I could have used to buy the 2 solar panels in the first place.

NOT FOR RING PRO CAMS

Only problem is thee included USB adapters DO NOT WORK on new Ring Pro cams. Why idk such a shame I really needed the right kind of adapters.

Great camera addition.

Easy to set up and install with a couple of screws, and after a month so far the camera is still at 100% power. Im sure it may go down a little in winter, time will tell.
