The solar panel doesn’t have to be the same brand as your camera as long as it connects. Love that this also came in a two pack! Just make sure your ring battery is fully charged first and then the solar panel does a great job in keeping it topped up. Do not try to go in with a half empty battery or something expecting the solar panel to charge it up. It’s not how that works! We went in with a full battery, connected and put up the little solar panel. It’s literally been 3 years at this point. We’ve never had to recharge the battery, it’s always being topped off by the solar panel. Granted I live in a state where it’s mostly sunshine. YMMV if you live in a place with much longer winters and less sun but it’ll still be great. You’ll definitely still have to charge it less than if you didn’t do the solar panel (unless you straight up wire it to your house). This solar panel works perfectly and costs less than the brand name. So worth it. The newer cameras did change their charging port to be USB-C so you’ll need to pick up an adapter. It’s very cheap and all that combined this is STILL cheaper than the brand name version of the solar panels!

Installed both panels with no difficulty. They trickle charge the battery in the cameras and are working better than expected. One receives only a couple of hours of sun per day but is recharging the battery 100%, same as the panel which receives considerably more sun.

I should’ve bought these when i bought my Rings. Instead i bought extra batteries smdh. If you put these up when its dusk or dark outside, they wont kick in until daylight hits them. You’ll see a sun on your battery symbol when you look at the settings for each camera. Installation was super easy. The cord between the solar panel and the camera is really long. I have a camera over my door and its covered. I was able to go 5 ½ feet away from the camera to put up the solar panel. I just wrapped the excess cord around the solar panel mount. No more climbing ladders to remove batteries to charge them. You do need batteries in the camera, but you wont have to remove thrm to charge them anymore.

I bought these solar panel chargers for my ring stick up cameras and it saves me from climbing on my ladder to change the battery. The quality is great and I'd definitely recommend this product.

I’ve had these for over a year now and they’re still going strong. Haven’t had any problem with them so far. They were very easy and straightforward to install. Perfect if you don’t want to constantly be breaking out the ladder to change out batteries. I would recommend wiping down the panels maybe a couple times a year to get remove dust and other buildup.

I bought these months ago to power up two Ring stick-up cameras for outdoors, which otherwise require taking out the batteries and charging every few weeks. Attaching them to the cameras and mounting them on the side of my house was easy. I found spots where the sun hits them directly for several hours a day and have not been below 97% of a full charge since. Definitely pleased with the purchase.

Easy to install use have to plug into your camara. Don't have to worry yourself about changing the batteries. Last just as long as your camaras does.

This was easy to mount, and very simple to connect to my camera. It worked right away and my camera hasnt died since it has been installed. Worth the money to not have the hassle of recharging all the time.

Highly recommend these. Super simple install and most importantly, they work! I haven't had to charge either of my Ring cameras since I added these solar panels, and I live in a very cloudy area with little sunlight. Super impressed.

Easy and quick to install, didn’t need to charge my battery it fully charged within 24 hours once the solar was charged next day as I installed it mid day when I got it so not enough sun time. Compared to getting the ring solars I think these work just as great minus paying for the name

These solar panels are great! They keep the batteries charged to 100% all the time, even during the cold freezing weather we just had in Louisiana.

If your camera is attached to the upper part of your house, this is a must-have. I purchased this unit to keep from climbing the ladder every three months to recharge the battery. The solar panel is easy to install and works superbly.
