It plays nice with many of the common security camera brand and models making this mount an ideal option for anyone not wanting to pay for the name brand mark up for their system. I found this mount to be perfect for the Argo Pro and Pro 2 cameras, with easy to install, easy to mount practicality. PROS - Great construction and build for a long lifespan - Truly universal for most security camera brands - Lower cost than brand name mounts CONS - None at this time.

|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried this mount with my Arlo Pro 3 security camera system. Overall, I think this mount allows for much more adjustment than the standard mounts from Arlo, however, it is much more difficult to get aligned perfectly. The mount comes with an easy to mount base plate with three holes. Once this is mounted on the surface, the second piece simply twists on to that base with a solid click to verify it is locked into place. This is all well and good but the next pieces are not so great. The main ball that allows for the vast majority of the lateral movement goes on next via threads. Once this is tightened down the main section of the mount is secured and locked in the place. After this the camera can be screwed on and aligned vertically with the second ball mount. Now this is where the mount becomes frustrating. The upper half of the mount is also threaded onto the base, so while you are trying to adjust the camera, you can accidentally unscrew half the camera mount also. This means you need to make sure everything is tight while trying to adjust the camera. Overall, this mount is VERY sturdy once you get everything in place and secure. It is somewhat bulky but depending on the camera you are using this may hide much of it. I think it is a great idea but could be executed in a better fashion.
