Nearly identical to the first, with the obvious exception of it being in a new "map".

    Beautiful game

This game is probably the best open world game in my opinion. San Francisco has been beautifully created with a lot of attention to detail. I pre ordered the game and was chugging along the single player campaign and all of a sudden the multiplayer got enabled and now I am addicted to the PvP online hacking feature, its just a lot of fun hacking people and using the drone to have fun with them and then getting caught is even more fun.. No doubt go out and buy this game you will not regret it..

The preorder process was stressful. When the system asked for my address the cashier put in her address and it messed everything up!

I wanted to like it, but it's just as bad as the first with the cringe turned up to 11. Unless you hate money, do not buy.

Story Good - Open World Bad - Driving Ugly

I'll start with the good. The story line is well done. I found each main mission and side quest fun and engaging. The story was easy to follow despite it being based on complicated schemes by major corporations and governments layered with the hackers' attempts to set things right. There are multiple ways to complete a mission. Sometimes I felt like sneaking around to complete something. Other times I just went in guns blazing. I could even do a mix of the two. I never got bored each time I had to hack something tucked away deep in a heavily guarded facility. I could go on about how great the story is, but I don't want to spoil anything. The bad is the open world. It's set in San Francisco. But, it feels more like the farming town I live in! There isn't much to do outside of missions. The spoof of Uber is fun for a little while. The prompts to reach sight seeing points of interest were ok. But, the world looks a little bland so sight seeing isn't that exciting. The NPCs are infuriating. They often blocked doorways without moving despite "running" into them. Several times I tried getting away from the police by running into a hideout only to be thwarted by a group on non-responsive people clustered in the doorway. Even worse is police cars driving on the wrong side of the road. If you just ever so slightly graze a police car, the heat is on (Kenny Loggins). How can you avoid a police car when one is suddenly in your lane heading right towards you at high speed? Oh, and for some reason people assume you are going to hit them with your car even though you are driving slow and in your lane. So, they jump out of the way. The problem is they often times jump the wrong way and end up in front of my car. They are dead and the heat is on - again for something ridiculous and outside my control. The ugly is driving. The vehicles don't seem to be in contact with the ground. It feels and looks like driving on ice. This leads to very bizarre animations and wonky control. The worst is the vehicle engine sounds. OMG whoever thought these engine noises sound right must drive a beat up Chevy Nova with no muffler. It's terrible! And there is no way to lower sound effects volume! I cringe every time I get into a car. At least the motorcycles sound somewhat normal. Seriously, Ubisoft needs to risk reverse engineering open world mechanics from Rockstar. Despite the bland open world and terrible driving experience, I consider this a good game because of how strong the story is. It's definitely worth the ride even if the cars are not.

    HACK THE PLANET!

after a disappointing launch of the original watchdogs, ubisoft comes back strong with the sequel. hack everything imaginable in the city of san francisco - race drones and listen to people's conversations or steal their money and read their text messages. this open world game has enough content to keep you occupied for months
