Good game different plot than your typical GTA

This is a cool game I have had it for a while and have gotten into it a little. From what I have seen it is a great game and even better graphics and the story takes place in Chicago. There are cool ways to get money and since you are a hacker, you can steal other people's money with your smartphone by hacking into their accounts and then go to the nearest ATM and presto you have cash! I recommend this game now that its cheap it is worth playing. I need to start playing this game some more!

Great game to play only once.

I like the combat and the AC and Far Cry gameplay with stealth. Only downside is the car maneuverability and the game physics which is basically the other half of the game. If you played GTA V before, the driving will irritate you. If you beat the game and want to start another one, you are gonna have to delete the save file. There are no multiple save slots which I found very irritating since we are in a world with high end consoles.

    OK game.

This game could have been the new GTA of generation, but instead it was just OK. Watch Dogs, in it's world is one of the coolest concepts in recent years, you are a Hacker - Aden Pirce, who needs to do what he needs to do in a wide open world, where anything is possible: from hacking traffic lights to blowing up steam pipes running under the roads to make your means. It has ability to join others players games to just do that - but watch out - you can get "hacked" in game too!! With it's companion app, that is available for free from Google and Apple stores you can even have fun if you are not near your console. The potential was there, but what happened was, the character was boring, the storyline was expected, and best parts were the free roaming parts, where you could just let your imagination go. Generally speaking, the game was good, but when the reveal showed it for the first time, it was much, much bigger and better. Unfortunately, instead of improving upon it, something happened and we just got "ok" game, that is not bad by any means, it's just that we know what was it aim and advertised as and that's not what we've got.

    Amazing Gameplay, Good Graphics

This is a great game. It is fun, challenging, and has some great storytelling aspects. Although some things are too reminiscent of Grand Theft Auto, for the most part this game is a very solid and well made video game. It does borrow a lot of content from GTA, granted, but it also adds a lot of new features and tweaks to the genre. Overall, if you like GTA, then this game is sure to be one of your favorites in your collection.

A fun game with easy pick up and go functionality. The storyline is relatively entertaining and there are enough extras too keep you occupied much longer than the primary gameplay requires. I did find it a bit derivative of GTA, but love the Chicago inspired setting.

Watch dogs delves into a darker underground crime syndicate in Chicago, which seems plausible to exist. Watch dogs not only looks amazing, it plays that way as well. Great soundtrack choice as well. Watch dogs also does a great job of capturing the culture of the Chicago setting, from the people to the landscape. No one can go wrong with this purchase a true must for every gamer!

I always love open world games, and though Watch Dogs may not have been able to keep up with the hype, it is still a good game. Chicago is beautiful, game is fun, and for the current price I highly recommend it!

Who thought you could do so much with a cell phone. The city of Chicago is beautiful and lively, and no one's information is safe. Driving definitely needs improvement but overall game play is very enjoyable.

Gameplay is interesting; story, characters poor

I really wanted to like this game more than I did in the end. Manipulation of the environment through various "hacks" is fun and interesting. However, the plot and characterization are just not very good. Dialogue is very cliche, and overall I have a hard time getting behind anything my character is trying to do. There's just nothing sympathetic, or even interesting, about Pierce. In my eyes, Ubi still lags behind other top gaming studios (Bioware, etc) in executing interesting, fleshed-out worlds and characters. Worth checking out, but not a GOTY, or even game of the summer, candidate.

Fun but not perfect Also: NOT FOR CHILDREN

Eagerly anticipated this game and couldn't wait to play it. Although the game is fun and the hacking aspect is unique, if you've played any Grand Theft Auto game, there is nothing groundbreaking here. The graphics are decent but far from the best the PS4 has to offer. Gameplay is smooth with no hiccups or slowdown at all. The campaign is pretty decent and engaging although some of the acting is a little wooden. The multiplayer is mixed in with the single player and offers an interesting twist as you'll occasionally get invites from or even get hacked by other players. The side missions were fun at first but quickly became dull and boring because they are entirely too repetitive. You literally do the same thing over and over. After the umpteenth time beating the clock with vehicles or knocking down a gang member, I finally ditched the side missions altogether which greatly diminishes the single player replay value. A word of caution, this game is definitely not for kids. It may seem like a no-brainer thing to say but I'm always surprised by the number of parents who buy these games for their children thinking it's "just a video game" and that it may have a little violence or other mild adult content. Well, this game has tons of profanity, violence galore and very graphic adult intimate acts (I originally used the three-letter "S" word but my review was flagged for "inappropriate language", so I had to change it up a bit). There is even a model of a guy openly using the bathroom against a tree or building. He and his weak bladder will occasionally pay a visit during gameplay. If you're considering buying this for anyone under at the age of 17, you've been warned.

Watch Dogs was a great game. It took some getting used to though. Certain side missions they let you do are a bit difficult until you are able to upgrade your skills though. Really makes you think on how to get to the next part of the level.

I love this game and the fact that you can go anywhere and do pretty much anything. I won't give away the story but it is definitely engrossing and will keep you playing for hours on end. Open world gaming at its best!

Since I lived in Chicago for a while, this game made me homesick about Chicago again. Besides it, the game is amazing, the way the revolutionized how to make a game. It's just amazing

The game was really fun to play through. The game is like GTA V, but located in Chicago plus all the cool hacking features. The game has ALOT of side missions, from driving contracts to hit contracts, you will find yourself doing the side missions more than playing the actual story. The story line was also really exciting! You can't go wrong with any Ubisoft game out there! The graphics are stunning in Watchdogs as well!

I tell my friends this game is kind of like GTA but on cocaine and steroids. There's too much to do, you could go playing for days and still find things to uncover.

Watchdogs had me highly anticipating it after that initial reveal at e3. The actual release didn't live up to that, but that's cool cause the game is still fun. There are pros/cons just like any game, but overall the pros outweigh the cons. And you can see the potential with the franchise if Ubisoft decides to continue it.
