I enjoy playing open world games. Some are great and some are forgettable. This is one of the greats. I have not had this much fun since I first experienced grand theft auto. Just buy the game and see how great it is.

Watch Dogs is a excellent game. It's like playing a new updated type of GTA.Instead of beating up a person you can hack them and money from them. The game is nice and long with side missions and other things you can do.

story is great...however the missions are a little misleading, sometimes annoying, youll be on the way to one mission and get sidetracked into doing side things. controls are not as fluid either, like the GTA series.

Great graphics and lots of things to do. This game can keep you occupied for quite a while if you try for 100% completeness.

I'm from the Chicago suburbs, so I'm kinda partial to this game as it takes place in Chicago...but the fact that you're a hacker who can hack into pretty much anything electrical in the city? FREAKING AWESOME!!

It's a great game to play with a whole lot to do you can just drive around or complete the many missions involved. And the cops are tough to get away from just try for yourself is a good game well worth the money

Surprisingly, the least interesting person in "Watch Dogs" is Pearce himself. With a Tom Cruise scowl and Christian Bale growl, his personality and motivations — the ones outside players' control, anyway — remain mostly unclear throughout the roughly 20-hour campaign. It's a shame that random guys on the sidewalk are often more remarkable than the protagonist. Besides revenge, Pearce has loads of side pursuits — car races, odd jobs, sightseeing, etc. — to undertake in a sleek rendition of the Windy City, a bustling metropolis that stands up to any virtual town out there, especially within the unique multiplayer mode where players can thrillingly "hack" into each other's games and play various forms of cyber hide-and-seek. Its great!

So happy I purchased this game. Has given me endless hours of entertainment. Just wish these games were not so pricey as they make a huge dent in my wallet but who wants to work when there are more games to play.

Great game that reminds me a little of the GTA series. Open world to explore with little side missions to complete at your leisure.

The game matches the metacritic reviews you have been reading. Lots of fun and you feel pretty mighty. some areas could be fleshed out and I believe they have decreased the res a little, but it has been amazing.

    Last Gen Disappointment

I love open world sandbox games it's all I play. I watched the first preview of this game at E3 2012 and was excited, I watched it at E3 2013 and still was very excited. The game is a disappointment. The graphics are totally last gen. There is nothing Next Generation about this game as promised by Ubisoft at the E3 presentations. There are side quests that become monotonous, boring, and repetitive. The online play servers are a mess right now, it was tweeted by Ubisoft Uplay would be getting maintenance to resolve online play issues. The game tries to much to be a GTA game. They dump you into the middle of a SP game with no real back story to the Campaign. Your just some guy with abilities to hack the city's OS. with a flash back to what happened to Aiden's family. That still is very bleak to say the least. The MP as I said is a mess, I've tried numerous times to play and invade other's games. You cant invade anyone specifically. You can only invade random people's game. This was another misrepresentation by Ubisoft as featured in a MP trailer by Ubisoft. So dont make the mistake thinking you'll be able to select a friend and invade his game, you cant. Also at this time as mentioned the MP is messed up, they are also having problems with people loosing save files The game is a decent open world game, but there is nothing that is mind blowing again as presented and overly hyped at the previous E3s. If you're looking for a sandbox game this is a fun game just dont get over excited and think you're getting a next gen game.

This is a great game for a brand new IP from Ubisoft. There is a ton of content and it is fun to explore a real-life inspired Chicago. The only downsides to the game are the driving feels a bit "arcade-y" compared to GTA V and the mass amount of missions does not make up for the average quality of the side missions. You'll find a ton of stuff to do but it won't always be fun. Anyway, hope you liked my quick spoiler free review. I would recommend it as a purchase, especially to Gamers Club Unlocked people.

    A Mixed Bag

I really wanted to like this game. I avoided the hype, dodged trailers and story spoilers, and bought this game day one. This game has very little to set it apart despite its original concept of hacking. Hacking is fun at first, but soon you find yourself hacking with no thought or real purpose. Considering that is their marketing focus, you would think that aspect would have been built to keep you engaged throughout the game. The city is very large and uninspired. If not for way points, you would have no idea "where" in the city you were. Too much focus on driving, Chase scene go on for much longer than they should. While there are some good aspects to the game, I found the game to be bland overall. If you are looking for a sandbox game that you only plan to play in short burst, are not offended by GTA style filth (or have a young audience), or are looking for non committal online multi player, consider this game after a price drop.
