Better with time
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While the game lacks full eye popping next gen graphics ala Assassins Creed Black Flag Watch Dogs is full of promise constant things to do similar to GTA it's premise in hacking is refreshing sometimes in puzzle format others just entertainment it has potential to grow into a huge franchise worth noting Online Contracts which allow you to hack actual players in a cat & mouse mode is worth the price! Worth a pick up great fun once you relax & just have fun

A great game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game is great and being from the Chicago area, it's nice to finally have a big game based here. The future setting is really cool and hacking and prying into other people's lives is a lot of fun. On the downside, and this may just be me or my TV, is that I get headaches after playing for over an hour. I don't know if it's the game itself (I had this feeling with Deus Ex Evolution too) or my TV with it's slow response time that causes some ghosting.

Great game let them hate.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been playing for a few days now and my skills once you unlock them are extremely fun. Hack your way around for car money to use the enviroment to your advantage. Metacritic score at 8.2 the game is good to buy ubisoft like with assassins creed black flag created a great fun enviroment to play in. 9 out of 10.

Great game.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its a great game to just play though. First time playing the game you will notice that it is very nice to look at. it almost seems realistic. the story is basically very uninteresting. Aiden shows only one emotion which makes him a forgettable character. Hacking is a very nice new take on gameplay. story felt short. A hard core gamer could finish the game in under 10 hours while a casual gamer can finish it for 12. Of all my dislikes i have on the game is the driving. its very unnatural. for people thinking that this driving will learn from rockstar's gta v, they are wrong. the handling might just be as bad as gta iv. This game is more for the people who like the visual stuff in games.

Good concepts despite some flaws
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'll give Ubisoft some credit for attempting to create something new. Although the trailers show extensive use of the phone for hacking, in reality especially in combat, it's completely optional which means that you can just shoot your way in. It's a shame because it can be really fun to use it to distract enemies and bypass them. The driving mechanics in this game are very weird and it feels like every car weighs 10 tons and turning them feels like turning 4 tanks stacked on top of each other. In the end, if you need something to hold you over until the next GTA comes out, this will do fine although I would wait for a price drop since I don't feel that it's worth it's full price.

Fun game, very unique take on open world games
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a fun game and definitely worth getting for the ps4 if you enjoy open world games. The tech savvy nature allows for a lot more stealth options and a few interesting tactics. Of course there's a few silly things liking hiding from the cops by going in the water, but overall, still a good game.

GTA style with a twist
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good game. If you like GTA then this is a game for you. It's similar in every way just more of a good guy with high tech features. Its takes a bit to get used to gameplay wise and vehicle's are a little hard to drive sometimes. But overall it's good game. Story is pretty good.

Disappointing after the hype and the delay.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was disappointed to have to wait for this release, but I figured, if they couldn't release it at PS4 launch, then they were obviously working out kinks. So I was excited to finally get the game. Fired it up and it looks great. The visuals are really nice on the game. However, if anyone has ever played the GTA series, you will notice instantly that the vehicle physics are severely lacking. Really frustrating to drive at times. As for the hacking element, that is interesting, but repetitive, and then cumbersome, which hindered my engagement in the game. I purchased Infamous Second Son the same week when Best Buy had it on sale, and I have been engrossed in that game since I put it in, that Watchdogs hasn't made it back into my PS4 again since. Game looks great, but it is lacking in overall game play.

it was okay....
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Watch dogs is an open world game with "vigilante" Aiden Pearce a man who seeks vengeance for his niece' death. The game itself has a good classic background of the game, all characters look well made Chicago's citizens and crimes are all well animated by ubisoft but the one thing that bugs me out is the repetitive campaign where you go on certain missions where you need to take a enemy down or gather intel hacking happens over and over and so on. Another is the decryption mode which only has 3 classes I want a multiplayer experience that makes me use the guns I want and not to be overpowered. To get to the bright things in this game is crafting system, mini games, digital trips, and skill points. So overall this game is pretty amazing but if I were you finish the campaign first before you do the fun stuff.

Good not great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think the game is fun, but like many other open-world games (GTA4, I'm looking at you), it lacks focus. You can drive around this big open world with tons of stuff to do but not all of it is super fun. Still, it's interesting and the hacking gimmick is a fun twist on the formula.

Great open world game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game borrows from the same formula Ubisoft has used for the past dozen games they have produced. From Far Cry to Assassin's Creed, Watch_Dogs carries on with the open world, slew of side missions, tower unlocks and collectables. But it's not a bad thing, they use the open world to great effect and it's a blast to play. The only real downside to Watch_Dogs is the story. The story is just boring and uninteresting
