When I got the game and installed it I was just happy that I didn't get the Uplay error that a lot people were getting. I went into the game without reading a lot of articles or watching a lot of gameplays. The game was pretty fluid and the idea of being able to hack in to anything was cool. They button layout on the controls is odd and the handling on styles of cars makes no sense but the game is extremely fun. The online is really fun and is different than any multiplier I have ever played. It definitely fulfilling being in a open world and hacking into others people wandering around in your game. I would definitely suggest the game to anyone that like to problem solve.

Love it. Hard to leave my Xbox One alone. Driving takes a minute to get used to. As well, GTA had this same rush when it first came out but the grinding killed it along with the hacks. Lets hope Ubisoft can learn from GTA's mistakes. Ive been killing the side missions, they are just so much fun, will have to play the storyline which is awesome as well and catch up to my friends.

I have not played much yet but I can tell by now that I prefer this game to Grand Theft Auto 5. Sorry for the GTA 5's comparisons but I cannot helped since GTA 5 is the measuring stick for open world games. First, you are not forced to commit crimes (well you do commit some crimes but the protagonist is mostly a good guy and not a psychopath like in GTA 5). Second, it is harder to run way from the police unless you know how to use your environment and hacking. Third, I care about the story not like GTA 5 that your only purpose was... I do not remember what it was but you just needed to kill innocent people. Fourth, the option to be stealthy and complete some missions without killing people is a big plus for me. Finally, I have not tried the multiplayer yet but I am very excited how it works. In conclusion, what I have seeing up to now I like a lot.

Coming up with original content in video games is getting tougher and tougher. To have something really stand out requires a lot of thought. Similar to the 'Grand Theft Auto' series, this story has you playing a hacker who can literally get information about a person just by having them walk by. This is like the TV Show 'Person of Interest', so I'm all for it. Side missions requiring simply hurting a suspect rather than killing him or her can take some getting used to as it seems the creators of the single narrative ran out of ideas, and simply threw these in just to pass the time. Enjoy the game for the graphics and the open world storyline(and the car chases). Who would of known you can do so much with a cell phone.

It has a great story and there are a lot of side missions to keep you busy. Online play is fun, going into other player games and hacking them is a blast and you can also team up abd try to steal a file.

Watchdogs is a massive open world game. There are plenty of campaign and side missions to do. You spend most of your time hacking everything and anything electronic. There's so much to do and hack it is very easy to get side tracked and off of the main mission. That's ok though since there's no time limit. I haven't played online multiplayer yet so I don't know what it's like. However I did get into a private lobby with a group of my friends and we had a lot of fun. This game is not for kids. There is a lot of explicit language and "adult" talk. The game can get repetitive at times. When you hack conversations you hear a lot of the same thing repeated over and over. That's my only complaint.

Purchased Watch Dogs while it was on sale for $20. Then took another month to play it, I will say this game is pretty long I have yet to do all the side missions and multiplayer. I was totally immeresed into the story of Aiden, his sister and nephew. The characters were beleivable and very intrigueing, the gameplay is quite similiar to GTA like everyone says but the phone hacking and being able to control the city just from a cellphone is badass. Pick this up if you like 3rd person GTA style gameplay with a great twist on it. Great campaign and good mechanics with the use of a cellphone.

First off, I do have to say that I worked on the XBOX One version of this game, so my review might be a bit biased! One thing I truly love about WD is the openness of it. Chicago feels alive. And the fact you can hack a lot of people with very little repercussions (except for Blume...)... Why did one of WD code monkeys get the XBOX One version and not the PS4 or PC version? Besides the obvious fact that I worked on this one, there are a lot less issues with the XBOX One version than the PS4. As for PC, I feel the XBOX One version stands up to them all when played on a TV with controller in hand...

I really like the graphics.It has a great story line. The hacking in the game is fun and it helps out to take down the enemies and to get away from the cops.

This game has amazing graphics as well as playability. the open world concept is great. The hacking portion of the game is incredible.

Watch Dogs is an amazing game with one of the best story/campaign modes in all video games. The story, while a little confusing at first, draws you in with multiple high speed races and hacking jobs with different personality people in the game. The game leads to a stunning conclusion that one would not guess in the beginning. If I had to give the game a con, it would be the easiness of the game until the last mission, when the difficultly ramps up. BUY THIS GAME!

Watch Dogs is a great game with excellent graphics. The story is engaging and very high paced action.

I haven't written a game review in years but Watch Dogs has made me change my mind. I bought this game along with the Xbox One Titanfall Bundle. Specifically waited to get my Xbox One until this game was released. So far I am very impressed with the game. I've probably put about 14 hours into the game so far. The story mode so far is phenomenal. I am not one who usually cares to much about the story but this one definitely is keeping me on the edge of my seat. Watch Dogs provides varies types of missions that are extremely fun and definitely add some adventure with hacking various obstacles to get past cop chases or to hack innocent pedestrians to get yourself more money. The map is very big (not GTA V big) but provides many side missions, mini games, and adventures. My big downside is that it's not like Assassins Creed so you can't walk on walls and get on top of every roof but it makes the game more "realistic". They also make the game interesting when you are about to start some missions you can "randomly" be hacked by someone online. This is very fun to hunt people down and keeps the game from being repetitive and just doing the campaign missions in a few days. I would suggest this game to any next gen console users (because we don't have very many of them). This definitely gives Ubisoft a great franchise to make more titles in the future. Guaranteed you won't find any game like this. The hacking, random online games, story mode, and great graphics will keep you busy and entertained.

My fear when I first bought Watch Dogs was that it would be just another Assassin's Creed and GTA clone. Far from it! There are over 13,000 NPC's all with hackable data that make the game extremely interesting to just wander everywhere and find out about everyone. Furthermore, the story and gameplay compares to the best of Gears of Wars and Uncharted. Unfortunately hacking is overrated as it is a little too simplistic and primarily scripted events but interacting with the environments to escape/getaway from situations is extremely fun. There are a few instances though where hacking is really creative, but for the most part it is a simple click to find out about people or change the environment. The real fun comes from the density of things to do within all of Chicago. I bought the XB1 version and am also extremely happy with the resolution. The primary difference between the XB1 and PS4 versions is depth of shadows. But the XB1 has the same high resolution texture level and dynamic lighting/shadows that PS4 has, it's just a little more in depth on the PS4 so hardly any difference. Great game, fun purchase! Enjoy!

I really can't say enough about this game. This open world format even beats out the Assassin's Creed franchise, as you see real life landmarks within the city of Chicago. Take it from me, this will be $60 well spent and easily the best game you're going to get next Forza 5 if you own the Xbox One console.

Watchdogs brings a unique new concept into the repetitive world of video games. The gameplay is different than your typical open-world/RPG, but very fun. Hours and hours of side content if you want to explore to your heart's desire. Just wish they realized how bad their driving controls and physics are...

the game looks really nice (not as nice as it could have) it plays well havnt found many glitches. its new and fun the driving isnt the best but the gunplay is great and the sounds of the guns are good. overall if your looking for a new game to eat up some time watch dogs is good for you.

I have not played through this game entirely yet, but I must say that I'm highly impressed with where it's gone so far. Sure, it's very similar in play style to GTA but the hacking features bring something completely new to the table. Also, the story is absolutely solid.

Love the game so far not much of a story but side missions takes up your time. Graphics are legit and cars on demand is awesome. the police are no joke so you feel cool after escaping them. Try the game out!

This game bring in some new concepts of game play I've never seen. It's a little tough getting used to the controls. They don't seem as refined as some other open world games but I've enjoyed and should be able to get plenty of hours playing in playing this game.
