This game was not as great as I expected. would not recommend.

I will not let my done play this game didn’t realize how bad it is.

I have been waiting for this game since it's delay last fall. With the delay I guess I was expecting, more? The game is fun, the hacking is awesome, the maps are huge and I love the whole concept of the game it's really great. With that said it seems to have something missing. For starters I'm not a graphics snob but immediately I noticed how last gen it looks normally things like that don't bother me but...in this game it does and some textures are just bizarre throughout the world. There is a vast amount of vehicles but their handling is worse than GTA 4. Along with poor handling the damage aspect is bizarre u can hit vehicles but it seems like u don't hit them, I crashed my car into a pole and it didn't even look like the car had Ben damaged a bit. Overall, gameplay is great, the hacking adds so much to the game without the game would be terrible. But with its graphical hiccups it's hard to feel u are truly in the next gen universe. It's quite a shame, bc just a few minor things could easily make this game a 5 star worthy title. It's still good I would recommend it but don't expect too much bc I was a bit let down.

The idea was good. But the overall success was pretty sh1tty

I bought this game for the Xbox One when it was released. I was already excited as I watched the trailers and reviews of this game. Playing the game is a whole different experience. If you go into playing the game thinking it's another GTA you will be disappointed, it isn't GTA even though it is a open world with endless possibilities. I felt comfortable with the controls, you can change the controls if you aren't comfortable with the default controls. The graphics are amazing, the story line is amazing, the missions aren't boring; so much fun. I have seen negative reviews and the people that are mainly giving it negative reviews have yet to play this game because they don't want to spend $60.00. I haven't been this excited about a game since GTA V (which is another amazing game that I own and love).

The game overall is very good, but it doesn't know what it wants to be. Sometimes I feel like I'm playing GTA others times it feels like Assassin's Creed. This issue is though, it is missing the things that made both of them great. You don't have the freedom GTA has of just doing whatever the heck you want and you don't have the free form flow of Assassin's Creed or the story. What it really needs is to add just a little bit more of each and it will be right where it needs to be!

This was a pretty decent game. I love the story line behind it. It helped to keep me interested in the game. This game for me was really just a blend of assassins creed and grand theft auto. You steal cars kill people and you get a higher wanted rating. There are side missions that are available to complete to get more money. the biggest thing that I thought was cool about the game was the ability to hack different things to change the games. Driving is tricky at times because the camera doesn't always change angles when you want it to so you have to try to compensate your driving by guessing what might be coming around a corner when turning. i would recommend this on the premise of the story and the ability to hack, otherwise if you like assassins creed and grand theft auto franchise stick to them.

This game is very good. If you like GTA games you will enjoy this. I love how you have a campaign to complete along with many gang related side missions and other things to do. You can also tail people and hack people online for notoriety bonuses. The driving and shooting in this game are both good. The only thing that annoys me about this game is the buttons to perform each action. Once you get used to them or modify them the game is great. If you like action packed games with free roam capability i recommend this game to you on Xbox One.

Watch Dogs is one of the best games out there; Whether you're playing story mode or just roaming around the city in Freeplay you'll be entertained for hours. I haven't played multi-player much but what I have done was fun. This is different than most games in that you have to think before you shoot. While it does make you require some strategic skills it's not so difficult that your casual gamer couldn't pick up and play.

Watch Dogs is a good game but was definitely over hyped. Don't get me wrong it's fun to play, but not quite what I was hoping for. I would recommend it, but not a strong recommendation. If you see it on sale for a good price pick it up. Otherwise wait until the price drops.

Great game, similiar to GTA but has its own perspective on shooting, stealing, killing. The hacking system is pretty cool but tends to get a bit repetative at times. The Max Payne "focus" shooting in slow motion is pretty dope. I would recommend this game to anyone into open world shootem up arcade games.

This was a pretty good game. It started out a little slow but after a while I started to get into it. Pretty similar to a lot of the other GTA clone games.

It may not be Assassins Creed or Grand Theft Auto, but the game is solid with a unique story and a different take on the open world genre.

First off, this game was one of the most hyped games for the beginning of this console generation, this in turn was its downfall. For a new Ubisoft IP it had alot of praise and excitement, in fact it was an unrealistic bar that was set for it, if you go in not expecting anything from this game you will see that it's not bad. Paying the full $60 price tag for this game did sting a bit when coupled with the hype train the title was the conductor of, the game mechanics such as the shooting in the game are very tactile and satisfying. The main downside is the driving mechanics, felt like a kid who was making his first game, I feel that this game laid the ground work for great future in this franchise. If you ever get to play the divsion, it feels like they used alot of the game mechanics from this game in that game. Bottom line if you can pick this game up for $20 or less, it is fun for a play through without the added hype.

With all of the open world games out there, it seems like it has become a challenge to stand out from the pack. Watch Dogs does just that with solid controls, an interesting story and the addition of "hacking," all done from your handy cell phone. At first, I thought the hacking angle would be a bit cheesy, but it actually works pretty well. It helps you with stealth, attacking, car chases, and pretty much everything else in the game. This game is definitely worth picking up if you are looking for some good open world action.

Excellent game. One of few video games that I can play all day and well into the night. Very similar to a high tech version of Grand Theft Auto.

overhyped. fun concept gameplay and controls could be better

Game was amazing first 30 hrs of exploring and doing story and online with mY friends was fun.... And then it broke. My friends game lost all upgraded content after playing online and me. . 90% glitch. It's when u attempt to load a save and 90% of the way it stops and doesn't ever load. Usually u can start over and it's fine but... 30hrs is tough to give up even worse. .. there are people who did start over and they r going through it. It's been two weeks for me not being able to play this game. Never got to beat it and Ubisoft gives the generic "it's is being worked on 've patient" I called customer service and they said that when u sell 4m copies of a game so quick bugs happen be patient..... This is horrible. Again if it's works 5 stars easy its super fun... But this game breaking bug isn't being addressed nearly fast enough

It's crazy long and sometimes seemingly pointless... however, story is very deep and characters pretty well developed. City of chicago is huge and extremely detailed. Beautiful to look at.
