The toothbrush does not have a cover nor does the waterpik. it's expose and I'm afraid it will get bacteria. Should have research the product a little more. Was not aware that the toothbrush would be expose without a cover. It serves its purpose, works well, except for the loud noise of the waterpik. I did recommended to a family member and she noticed that it was very noisy especially when using it at night.
