I was excited to get this because I heard good things about water flossers. It was easy to set up & use but that’s about where it ends. It does do a good job on flossing, better than getting the string stuck but you can’t take it with you. Although it’s a bit small, it’s not super compact for travel. It did remove peanuts from my teeth & felt good afterward but it is super messy, don’t know if I have a defective one or not but water is constantly running down my hands & it sprayed on my face. You must keep this over a sink & in your mouth when you turn it on or you & your house will get a bath. I found that out the hard way! There are 10 speeds & even on 1 it is quite a powerful spray. The water reservoir holds a fair amount of water but it seems to get used rather quickly. The unit is quite loud while using it. The cord is pretty short & comes with 6 different tips & magnetically attaches to the base. There are tips for regular use, braces, crowns, retainers, implants, dentures, etc. Battery is suppose to last up to 4 weeks per charge, time will tell on that. I have sensitive teeth so even using room temperature water & on the lowest speed my teeth were hurting. I really wanted to like this but I’m not impressed, I’ll keep practicing using it , maybe there’s a knack to it & I’ll try to use warm water to cut down on the sensitivity.

I am big proponent of water flossers. I have had one for most of my life. I have had many models and styles over the years and I can say that in my experience, Waterpik is my favorite brand. I have never had a cordless one before and wouldn’t normally want one. Corded is the way to go in my opinion most of the time. However if you are like me and have a little bathroom with a small sink and limited space (and a partner who really dislikes clutter lol) this device may be for you. The overall size of the device is surprisingly small considering it has to incorporate a battery and maintains a proper size reservoir. The power, pressure setting and attachment options are all right in line with what I would expect from a quality product. Tips are super quick and easy to change as usual. The way the water line coils around a magnetic base that cradles the handle is pretty sweet. As a fairly tall person I would of preferred a slightly longer hose but I would also prefer slightly bigger bathtubs, longer beds and taller doors lol. So Im guessing this isn’t going to be an issue at all for most people and is only a minor one for me. All in all I have to say this is a 5* product. Of course with all battery products you have to consider it will probably have a shorter life span than a corded one. But if a cordless is your preferred choice then I highly recommend this device and would absolutely recommend it to a friend.

My family and I have not had a Waterpik until now. My daughter just had braces put on and this has already made a world of difference. She hasn’t been one to immediately take care of her teeth when she wakes up, when she eats, etc. and now with this, it seems she is looking forward to being more active in her dental care and improvement. I can tell a difference in her teeth, specifically the braces, and that they are pretty much always clean when she is able to use the flosser. The Waterpik is small and takes little space on the counter; with it being wireless, it is even better for our kid’s shared bathroom which is always jam packed with multiple bottles and other supplies that teens may need. We did a full charge and after a week of regular use, it has yet to need another one to this point. I’m sure it will be soon but the packaging claims you should get about 4 weeks of regular use. There are 6 different tips included which help with general flossing, plaque removal, implants, and orthodontia, which is the best one for my daughter, but generally work well for everything you may need. The magnetic handle is a really nice touch and helps to keep the bathroom a bit neater and less cluttered. I would definitely recommend this (or maybe two of them) to anyone that maybe doesn’t floss as much as they’re supposed to or want some additional cleaning. Great machine!
