The rolled up cord is located behind the toothbrush in the stand and pushes on the toothbrush, pushing it off the stand. Additionally, the water well is not so big so need to fill with water often.

I really liked the idea of a toothbrush and waterpik in one. The concept is brilliant. Finally, they executed it. They did a good job. My dentist always tells me I need to floss more as I am sure people will relate. Yet I always felt bad using floss because it adds more trash and plastic use. Using a waterpik makes me feel a heck of a lot better about that. The brushing function is a vibrating toothbrush. You can activate both brushing and flossing at the same time! Now in regards to the function, I do think that neither function has the power of an electric toothbrush or waterpik. The toothbrush does not feel as powerful as previous electric toothbrushes I have used. I also feel like they could have added a rotating aspect to the toothbrush. Also the flosser feels weaker than my other waterpik for some reason. I do think this a great concept that gets rid of the hassle of flossing or having a separate waterpik. For the amount that you're paying I feel it is a good product to invest in for dental hygiene.
