Customers are pleased with the Sonic-Fusion Rechargeable Flossing Toothbrush's ease of use, effective flossing and cleaning capabilities, and adjustable water pressure. Many appreciate the built-in timer, contributing to a thorough brushing experience, and report positive feedback on the overall mouth feel after use. Great electric toothbrush, awesome flosser, messy
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just ask any dentist - the revolution in electric toothbrushes is changing how we care for our teeth. Having used competitors electric toothbrush for many years, but still having sensitive gums, I decided to try the Waterpik toothbrush and irrigator. First off these things take some getting used to! As a toothbrush it's fairly standard and does as good of a job as most Oral B or Philips products. The heads seem well made and will last a full 6 months, which is how often you should be replacing them. The Irrigator/Flosser part of this device is the game-changing and messy proposal. First, it's a tad unwieldy. Waterpik has made it so you can brush independently of the base and there is a rechargeable battery in the handle that is charged by the base, however, to use the irrigator/flosser you have to be tethered to the base with a hose that provides the water from the reservoir. The reservoir is a little on the small side which means you're filling it up with almost every use, but then again you want to use fresh water each time and not stagnant water that's been stored in there. There are pressure settings on the base for the water pressure, which is good because you'll want to dial it in for you. This is the part that takes some getting used to - this almost MUST be done over the sink and plan for the water to run OUT of your mouth as you do it. No looking in the mirror, just operate by feel. The end result of this is a pleasant clean feeling on gums and like I'd been to the dentist type of clean, but the process takes some adapting. I can understand why these have been made int he past as two separate devices, I appreciate the quality that Water Pik has put into builidng this toothbrush/flosser combo, it's defiitely a boon to caring for your teeth. Also, the base will need to be on your counter somehwere for the water delivery tube to not be unweildy. Overall I don't know if this is the correct product for me, I like the flosser, but I'm not sure I'm going to ever use the brush and flosh simultaneously as the flosser would flush all the toothpaste out of my mouth before I'm done. If you're already a waterpik fan, go after this thing. If you have been diagnosed with gingivitis and recommended to use a flosser, this is also for you.

Like the Waterpik
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall the devise looks nice and is far smaller then the waterpiks of yesterday and sits discretely on the counter. After you complete your cleaning, just set the devise back on the base, the water tube curls itself back up and the devise recharges. I don’t feel that the brushing portion is ground breaking. Compared to my previous sonic toothbrush. Overall I will continue to use my previous sonic toothbrush in conjunction with the waterpik floss feature. The waterpik floss portion works great. I use mine on the max setting and I can really feel the water doing its job and getting out all the little bits and pieces in between my teeth. When complete, my mouth feels nice and clean and my gums are happy and not irritated. Overall, if you currently use a sonic toothbrush, I would just buy a waterpik separately. If you are stepping up from a manual toothbrush, this may be a good fit for you since you will be getting a few extra bonus features.

New experience
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have never had a Water Pik product before but thought I would give this a try, so I can't compare it from a regular Water Pik. Sonic toothbrush takes a little getting used to but since I have a Sonic Care I knew what to expect. The sonic vibration will have a tendency to make your saliva glands work overtime when brushing your teeth. It does pause every 30 seconds to let you know when you should move to a different part of your mouth. Unit is a little noisy when in the flossing mode and the tube for the flossing portion could be a little longer. Be prepared to fill your mouth with a lot of water but it seems to do a good job. I am impressed with how much debris comes out of my mouth even after I have brushed 1st. I am only giving it 4 stars because at $150.00 it does seem a little pricey but it does do a good job.

Posted .We are so sorry to hear that this happened! The power handle radio frequency disconnects from the base after ten minutes to save battery. Excellent Product - Glad I have it
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first brushing system and I am very happy to have it. I have used basic vibrating toothbrushes before, but nothing on par with what this offers. Simply put, my teeth feel cleaner when I'm done. The brush head is small, so it reaches places that a larger brush might not. The vibrating head seems to really clean the surface of the teeth. I had to learn to hold it and angle it so that it doesn't tickle the backside of my gums. Now that I have used it for a few days, I am impressed. It might be just in my head, but I believe that my teeth look whiter when I'm done. The water jet makes this better than ever, as it rinses my mouth while shooting a stream between each tooth. It's essentially flossing and brushing at the same time. If you have sensitive teeth, you will want to fill the water tank the night before so you aren't shooting cold tap water at your sensitive teeth. I would imagine that I am saving a few gallons of water with each brushing when compared to leaving the water running while I would brush. No need with this system, as my mouth is rinsed when I turn on the water jet. I wish I had owned one of these years ago. This is a great investment for your dental health.

Average Toothbrush
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really wanted to like Sonic Fusion's new waterpik, but sadly it falls short of expectations. First off I have a previous model by Sonic-Fusion, which I have used for years and I absolutely love it. When I saw that they came out with a new model that had the water pick imbedded into the toothbrush, I was all for it. The problem is, It's not very practical. When you open the box you notice that there are 2 items, the base station and a carrying case. Inside the carrying case has the rechargeable toothbrush and the brush head. The base station is really small, which is a plus because it saves space on the bathroom counter. The waterpik has a simple look to it, all white with a chrome ring under the water cup, as well as on the pressure setting knob. There really isn't much to setting the waterpik up, as you just plug it in the wall, fill up the cup with water and attach the hose to the bottom of the toothbrush (if you want to use the water pick). On the toothbrush itself, it has 2 buttons, a brush button - which turns on the toothbrush, and a water pick button. You can use either one at a time or both at the same time. On the housing unit it has just one knob, a pressure knob numbered 1-10. This acts as the intensity of the water pressure. My biggest complaint for this unit would be that, unlike previous models, there is no toothbrush sensitivity setting. It just has one, which it actually pretty intense. I do wish they would have incorporated a second or third setting for those of us with sensitive teeth. The toothbrush itself feels kind of cheaply made, and lacks any sort of useful settings. Like other models, it pauses every 30 seconds to let you know when to move onto a different area, this one does have that but it's more of a skip than anything (and you can barely notice it). It does still have the auto shut off function that lets you know when you've brushed for the ideal amount of time though. The water pick, is very basic at best. it shoots a stream of pulsating water, on a setting of 1 to 10. 1 being the softest and 10 being so strong, that it can chip away mildew off the sink drain. Being able to use the toothbrush and the water pick at the same time is a nice feature, but it's not very ideal. The first time I tried it, the toothpaste fell right out of my mouth before I was able to even brush it on. So, I would recommend brushing first, then using the water pick after. Another thing I noticed, was that the water stream from the pick sprayed out like a hose with a broken nozzle, it was uneven with a large stream. This made it hard to get a good pick from my teeth. Overall, I am not very impressed with this model that Sonic Fusion has made. It feels more like a budget friendly model than a new design. With the cheaply made toothbrush that has no settings, to the faulty water pick that shoots out unevenly. I like the idea of eliminating the water pick and having it built into the toothbrush, but sadly it just doesn't work very good. So, I don't think I will be recommending this model to anyone.

Good 2 in 1 brushing and flossing
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This seems to be a good toothbrush and water flosser. I’m not certain that water flossing is better than regular flossing, but it does have advantages in certain situations. There are a few things I would change to this unit, though. There really needs to be some sort of storage for brush heads on the unit. A digital timer would also be nice. The mechanism that attaches the body to the hose is it a little odd. You need to press the button on it to release, but the button is on the back, which makes it hard to do in one motion.

Works well, fits in with decor, easy to clean
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Setup was easy and the footprint is small so it fits well on the bathroom counter. Clean up is simple, I've used similar tooth care items before and it is pretty standard but seems to do a better job than my last.

Not Ready For Primetime
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really wanted to like this but I just don't think it is good enough to replace my sonic toothbrush or my original Waterpik Flosser. It doesn't do either task well in my opinion. The cleaning is just ok. I don't think it does a really good job as a sonic toothbrush and it definitely doesn't do a good job as a flosser. The tip is flexible so it bends and gets blocked by bristles and I find the "sonic" toothbrush rather weak. When you look at the "brush action" and compare it to others in the space, these bristles do not really move. It gives more of a "vibration" sensation. I can't seem to find the details of strokes per minute but it can't be high. I love the design but it just doesn't work for me. The build quality is excellent and I like how they tried to combine two things into one. For me, I will just be using my original Waterpik and my current toothbrush.

Nothing to rave about
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Waterpik - Water Pik Sonic-Fusion Rechargeable Toothbrush and Oral Irrigator - White/Chrome is a different experience for me, because my former electric toothbrush spun around in a circular fashion to clean my teeth. The Waterpik - Water Pik Sonic-Fusion Rechargeable Toothbrush and Oral Irrigator - White/Chrome does not move in any direction at all. It uses sound waves to clean my teeth. Two problems that I have with the Waterpik - Water Pik Sonic-Fusion Rechargeable Toothbrush and Oral Irrigator - White/Chrome is that it cannot be used for brushing my tongue and gums. I must still use a manual toothbrush to clean my tongue and my gums. The Oral Irrigator is difficult to become accustomed to, because adjustment of the water pressure is touch and go. I had water spraying all over my medicine cabinet mirror. The Oral irrigator is not more productive than using floss for removing foreign particles in between my teeth. My teeth feel clean from using the Waterpik - Water Pik Sonic-Fusion Rechargeable Toothbrush and Oral Irrigator - White/Chrome, but my whole mouth does not feel as squeaky clean as when I use a manual toothbrush. When I brush manually at night before bedtime, I wake up with my mouth still feeling clean without any stale taste or feeling. The Waterpik - Water Pik Sonic-Fusion Rechargeable Toothbrush and Oral Irrigator - White/Chrome does not give me that clean morning taste or feeling. So in the final analysis, I still must incorporate my manual toothbrush into my oral care routine.

Water Pik Sonic-Fusion - Nice product
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was anxious to try this Water Pik Sonic-Fusion toothbrush/flosser product, since I liked the idea of having 2 products in one AND because flossing is important but something I rarely do because it's "one more step" in the morning. I liked the compact size of this Water Pik. It was packaged well and had easy to read instructions for use and setup. It was very easy to put together and start to use. In use, I really liked the flossing capability. I could change the intensity of the water stream by an easily accessible and readable "knob" on the left side of the main unit. It seems to do a good job of getting the water stream in-between teeth and makes my mouth feel clean. I was very disappointed in the "electric brush". While it turns on and has a "sound" like it's agitating and brushing your teeth, the toothbrush HEAD barely moves, which is easily seen when turning on outside of your mouth. I have an Oral B 2000 and it does an amazing job of scrubbing your teeth. I just wish that the Water Pik was half as good.
