    I bought this to replace my precious Waterpik which died. The old one was a combo unit and the battery on the electric toothbrush stopped holding a charge a couple of years ago. This has led me to conclude that I’m better off not having a combination unit.

    This Waterpik works great for my rather unusual condition. I have partially erupted wisdom tooth with a large gum pocket around it. Food tends to get trapped in the pocket and I've had years of embarrassing bad breath. I've tried mouthwash, dental picks, dental syringes to try to deal with it - then I tried this. It works great. Since I got this a few months ago my bad breath problem has gone away.

      We are sorry that this happened. Running distilled white vinegar and warm water through the unit and handle regularly, as recommended, will prevent the issue by breaking down any buildup that may be accumulating. Here is a link to our cleaning blog that has detailed cleaning instructions.
