    We replaced Waterpik because older one failed after years of use. This one seems okay overall, but the noise level is quite a bit higher than the previous one we are used to.

    I have the model with a button rather than a sliding switch for turning the water on/off. I now know why they no longer make this type of switch. It’s been just over a year since I purchased and the button is stuck. It’s been getting stuck for several weeks now but finally is not able to in-stick. I loved this device and will buy another, but I wish I had bought the warranty. I’m giving 3 stars because it was a 5 star device for almost a year, but should have lasted longer in my opinion.

Running distilled white vinegar and warm water through the unit and handle regularly, as recommended, will prevent the issue by breaking down any buildup that may be accumulating.
