I've always had good luck with Western Digital and would recommend this product to anyone who need extra storage for whatever reason.

Could be better!

If you put a Xbox Series X/S game on it, it will require you to move the game to internal storage before you can play the game. I have had mine for a few months and while I like the storage the cord is loose and I can’t charge my controller while I have this plugged in. If you play more backwards compatible games like I do then I would suggest you get it, if you don’t I would recommend you get an expansion card.

However, I recently found out the Series X games will not work with this drive (the error message states next gen games require faster hard drives and to transfer the game to the internal drive to play) VERY DISAPPOINTING. Gave it 4 stars as it works just not for the purpose I bought it for.

Exactly What I Needed.

Max of 5TB's of storage. I store ALL my backwards compatible XBOX One, XBox 360, and Original Xbox games to save precious internal space. NOTE: they play directly from the drive itself. Also I save the Series X games I'm presently not playing on the external drive to free up space for new games. Remember, you must transfer the Series X games back to the SSD to play them again. Transfer rates are really fast.
