I went to the store to purchase the Xbox X edition while it was on sale and one of the employees convinced me OF ALL PEOPLE as much I know about electronics that this would be extremely better; LIES!!!!!! Does not work for Xbox series x

It is not compatible with the Xbox series x. Also you have to have a storage expansion card to download more new generation games so this is wrong.

It will not let me store or load games that are optimized for the series X/S. Essentially any game I put on there will not have the benefits of the newer Xbox systems.

Huge amount of space!

Upon plugging this in, I realized it can’t run games ‘optimized for X/S consoles’ on it, which was entirely my mistake, but the ability to have 5 terabytes of extra storage to have all the old games and some newer games is handy! Well worth the money!
