I recommend this over cheaper models, this one has DRAM cache which will sustain transfer speeds 3GB over really big files. DRAM-less m.2 drives tend to be as slow as normal SATA SSD or even HDD after big transfers. I bought 2 on sale for 120 each.

needed to return it to get another ssd with higher capacity but as i liked this one just got 500GB of same series for my macbook

great and fast, if you have pcie 4.0 id get the SN850, since this one is only pcie 3.0, it is still great for the price however.

Fast, boot times are phenomenal! A very good upgrade for a good price! Only downside is it doesn't come with the tiny screw you'll need to install it. I had to hunt down my case screw set and, thankfully, the size screw I needed was included.

I added this to my gaming laptop (not my everyday gaming rig, mostly for travel) and it works great. Don't attempt to install by yourself if you don't know what your doing though. While it is easy to do, it's also easy to mess things up too.

Absolutely love this little SSD. My computer boost faster than a 3 year old can say "mine." Highly recommend if you want to feel like you are on board of the USS Enterprise traveling at warp speed.

Have not used this piece i ordered but i have used this model and am currently using this model.. I keep some in stock when things go on sale. Overall great for gaming fast loads and great performance keep me buying them.

Bought this in an emergency to replace a failing drive; was VERY pleasantly surprised to find such a good price on WD Black. The new drive worked immediately and has been flawless for nearly a month now. Would buy again.

Excellent choice and what a difference this SSD makes over the “Blue” version I also have. The speeds are a little quicker and reading speed makes a huge difference booting up larger games

Fast drive. Temps idled at 40 degrees without a heatsink. With heatsink, idled at 32. Never goes above 45 degrees.

Great Gen3 drive but in 2021 you might want to consider Gen4 or greater. I use it for games.

If you've been thinking about purchasing an nvme, you won't be disappointed and will be blown away by the increases data read and write times over traditional ssd and HDD storage.

No issues with the quality of this, it’s quick and does what I need to do with very easy set up.

It was meant for my brother and his new pc, but he didn't have an extra slot for it. I could've gotten it working for him but he decided it was too risky to clone the OS. Well, I'm enjoying it very much.

Amazing technology. Using as primary boot device. Just install OS on flash drive then boot to install windows on new M.2 primary drive if needed to. Bios on Asus z590 picked it up no problem.

Good as boot drive. Only annoyance is that it didnt come with a screw.

What can I say except that it is an m.2 hard drive. Super easy to install and easy to setup. No issues with the product whatsoever. Love small form factor storage and this fits the bill.

It's hard for me to say which product is better, the WD or it's Samsung counter part. My complaint about this one that it's cloning software is terrible. It wouldn't install and their support had to log onto my computer and put in their code to allow the software to install and even then didn't work. Ended up using Clonezilla and Gparted to clone and expand the partition. Found it easier to install a fresh version of Windows instead of cloning.
