Read speeds of up to 3,470MB/s offer improved load times, while the M.2 form factor means you can directly plug into the motherboard without extra cabling. Compared to typical 2.5-inch SSDs, this WD_Black SSD fits double the storage density on a single-sided drive, making it suitable for portable builds.
Q: does this come with the board screws for mounting?
A: Nope! Nothing inside the box besides the m.2 drive
A: This is a 2280 size, meaning that it is 22mm wide and 80mm (3.15 inches) long.
Q: Can I use this to hook up to my TV and basically have a working desktop computer?
A: Yes, as long as you get all the other parts to a computer as well. Otherwise no, thats not how an SSD works.
A: Simple answer is no. For a functioning computer you need specific things. Computer Mother Board, CPU, Cooling, RAM, hard drive to boot OS, and some type of graphics card. Some CPU's have built in integrated graphics but those are not intended for things like gaming and video editing.
A: It will not. Only a PCIe 4.0 M2 NVMe SSD will work for the expandable storage in the PS5.
A: Yes, it should be okay without it. I have one in my pc without a heat sink, have not seen any concerns over the last few months. You can probably get a heat sink for it directly from WD or from stores doing a search online.
A: Legion 5 laptops typically have two M.2 slots that support NVMe SSD cards of this size. WD Black SN750 SSDs will fit and work well. For clearance just be sure to avoid the version with a factory installed heat sink.
Q: Does this include the screws needed to screw it into the motherboard?
A: Hi Nick, Please know that the screws to attach the drive with the motherboard usually comes with the motherboard's case or in a plastic pouch with the computer. Each Motherboard manufacturer uses their own specifications for the Standoff screw's pitch and TPI. You can use the 3M screw to connect the M.2 SSD with the motherboard.Need Help? WD Black Series M.2 NVME are among the best storage sticks that you can buy. I chose the 1TB option as a means to use with an ASUS Strix Arion Enclosure. Trust and believe, if you need a pretty cool portable storage combination, you'd be hard pressed to find a better solution. The Samsung 970 Evo Plus and 980 Evo Pro are about the only two NVMEs that can beat it. Sure, you can also go with Sabrent Pro if you can find them at a decent price. But for readily available NVME? The 1TB and 2TB WD Black NVMEs are the way to go.

Hi there, I just built my first gaming PC recently. I've been using a gaming laptop for some time now, but then decided it was finally time to upgrade. And my main goal was to put performance before looks. So my PC has a minimum amount of RGB lighting. But besides all that, this memory is very fast, my computer turns on in less than 5 seconds, and boots up games almost just as fast. I was very impressed, I'm about to buy a second one.

It works great. My friend and I bought one at the same time. His ranked 99% whereas mine ranked around 80%. Regardless 1tb for the price was well worth it. I have about 15 games downloaded to it including some new high end games. Still have around 300gb left. Also really fast. GTA V online loads in about a minute or less compared to other ridiculous load times.
