WD Black Series M.2 NVME are among the best storage sticks that you can buy. I chose the 1TB option as a means to use with an ASUS Strix Arion Enclosure. Trust and believe, if you need a pretty cool portable storage combination, you'd be hard pressed to find a better solution. The Samsung 970 Evo Plus and 980 Evo Pro are about the only two NVMEs that can beat it. Sure, you can also go with Sabrent Pro if you can find them at a decent price. But for readily available NVME? The 1TB and 2TB WD Black NVMEs are the way to go.

Hi there, I just built my first gaming PC recently. I've been using a gaming laptop for some time now, but then decided it was finally time to upgrade. And my main goal was to put performance before looks. So my PC has a minimum amount of RGB lighting. But besides all that, this memory is very fast, my computer turns on in less than 5 seconds, and boots up games almost just as fast. I was very impressed, I'm about to buy a second one.
It works great. My friend and I bought one at the same time. His ranked 99% whereas mine ranked around 80%. Regardless 1tb for the price was well worth it. I have about 15 games downloaded to it including some new high end games. Still have around 300gb left. Also really fast. GTA V online loads in about a minute or less compared to other ridiculous load times.

Operating system load times are BLAZING & put an HDD to shame. It’s rated 1.75M hours MTTF, so it should give MANY years of high performance. Small footprint, no moving parts to break down, completely quiet, & INSANELY FAST...I appreciate all those features & more!

Really fast in my Acer Nitro. 3415 read 2965 write speeds. Much faster than an original sata ssd. This Acer Nitro boots in maybe 5 or 6 seconds. The photos are in this order left to right. WD drive, original pcie drive and a standard crucial ssd.

This one terabyte SSD card is exactly what you were looking for. With a couple of adjustments Your computer will be running faster. You can also use your other hard drives at the same time and designate memory ram to this card. Very simple evening A beginner can do it.

This probably got cheaper because PCIe Gen 4 is already out, and that will always be faster, but for the price that I got this for, it’s still an amazing drive compared to a SATA SSD or HDD in that regard. Definitely worth purchase if you need fast, extra storage.

If you can get this on sale buy it! Bought this to replace my boot drive and you can’t go wrong. Install/cloning the drive took less than 15mins. Aomei software is by far the best to clone ssd.

Works great on my Asus Maximus Hero 11 MOBO. It's plenty fast and a good-priced alternative to Samsung's Evo series if you don't need the absolute fastest speeds. Follow me @ Lil Rice Muncher Gaming on YT!

Dropping this drive into my Fledging Thunder Shell Enclosure gave speeds of 2343 MB/s write and 2378 read. Using my OWC Envoy Express it only gave speeds of 1315 MB/s write and 1423 read. Both drive enclosures connected to my MBP using Thunderbolt 3. This is comparable to my Sabrent Rocket 4.0.

This is an amazing SSD. Looks awesome and speed is great. No heat or performance issues. I've attached the crystal mark scores.

western digital has been providing consumers with excellent products for years. This storage drive is consistent with their commitment to quality hardware throughout the years.

The nice thing about this is that it's fast. Really fast. It doesn't support the PCIE 4.0 spec, but I didn't need that. My motherboard is PCIE 3.0. It nestles comfortably under a heatsink on my motherboard and quietly does it's job. I want to get another one for the other M.2 slot so I can get rid of the drives altogether. The price is right and it has a good warranty. As with any storage device, make sure you have a good working backup strategy in place.

I’m super happy with this purchase! I exchanged Samsung for this disk! It’s working under the RAID without any problems! I have dell g7 7700, that has 2*m.2. Just added this one, windows put RST drive by itself, soon I added the disc, installed WD software that shows me temperature, can make migration and all other things. No need to work ACHI, dance with the reinstalling windows, or other stupid things that happened to me with Samsung. The quality will keep you posting.

This is not just my first time using m.2 ssds but my first time ever getting an ssd. I have used HDD up until a few months ago. I knew the difference would be good but this is insanely fast. Well worth!

Very fast. Only problem is-cant read tooltips anymore on load screens. They're all gone too fast. Fit perfectly in my Acer Nitro 5, and after 10 minutes of googling figured out how to enable it and it works perfectly.

Speeds are comparable to Samsung SSD's, read and writes over 3000 MB/s
