I got the same brand for my PC when I went and swapped it back and it has lightning fast load times. Definitely worth getting especially if you're already in the market looking for additional storage.

Write speeds are definitely improved over the stock drive but read speeds are in the 3,500 range. I have not used it in machines other than Surface Pro 9 so results could vary from machine to machine. There are less expensive options that provide similar results since you are paying a premium for WD but not getting additional performance over others.
