Bought this as an extension for my PS5. Fit in the expansion slot perfectly and formatted with no issues. I don't bench mark or test of the likes, so i cannot accurately describe how fast this is compared to others. However, for an average user, I see no issues with loading games from this drive. They load fast, save fast and playback with no lag.

Easy install and works perfectly in the PS5! Can't wait to fill it up...which won't be too hard.

Awesome hardware very easy to install would buy again

Got this on black Friday. Works great. 2TB of data. Easy to install (just know you need a #0 or #1 Phillips screwdriver) Now i feel comfortable adding more games to my collection.

I was debating on whether I should get extra storage for my game but after having to delete games for more games i decided to pull the trigger and get more storage and let me tell you it was the best decision i made. With this you have more options on the games you play. Plus its so easy to install

Works as it should and luckily got it on sale but had issues with receiving my package because the sales associate screwed up the transaction and I didn’t find out until I notice I didn’t receive it on the day it was supposed to arrive so I had to go back up to the store and they had to re-do the transaction and therefore had to wait an extra week to receive my package

This NVME SSD is excellent. Installing into a PS5 is super simple, and when in doubt there’s YouTube. When you install it, the PS5 will display a read speed of 65xx, but I believe it is a lot closer to the advertised 7000. I haven’t done a scientific comparison of the NVME SSD vs the internal PS5 SSD but to me it feels faster. Loading a game felt faster, starting up from rest mode felt faster as well. Starting a game up from rest mode(you go to rest mode while playing the game and then turn on your PS5) was significantly faster. Transferring data from internal SSD to this one is extremely fast. I’m confident you can transfer the entire 667GB from the internal to the NVME in under 20 minutes. Transferring from the NVME to the internal storage is extremely slow. Not sure why, but most likely limitations on the PS5 internal SSD. 2TB was the biggest available at the time so I went with that option but as SSD speeds increase, will someone with max read of 7000 be left behind when SSD speeds hit 10000+? Time will tell, but if you decide for an upgrade, and aren’t sure if you’ll want another one in the future then the 1TB is perfectly fine. Honestly I only have about 900 GB used anyways.
