The process of installing the SSD is fairly simple. I watched a how to video and the person said to grab the console cover by the edge and lift. DON'T DO THAT! I noticed a lot of videos where the person said that. You have to slide the cover to the left, then lift. With the top of console facing down and the disc tray away from you. Extra storage space makes game nights convenient since I don't have to keep reinstalling games. Games do load and run smoothly from the SSD. Consoles that give you an internal storage upgrade option is plus for me.

Well, when I bought the PS5 I bought a few games and I noticed it got full very quickly so I decided to buy this which I saw in reviews. It is very excellent. It made my console super fast, so I totally recommend this.

I purchased this SSD Card with Heatsink to expand the memory on my PS5, as the kids like to save every game they come across lol. I purchased while it was on sale and used my BB points, so It was pretty much free. The installation was fairly easy except the PS5 mounting screw stripped within seconds of me touching it with a screwdriver. So I purchased the iFixit tool set from Best Buy, a new Mounting (M3-0.5 X 10 mm) screw from Home Depot (0.97$) and finished the install in less than a minute. So overall, great SSD card with solid memory space and definitely would recommend without breaking the bank.

Great for the PS5. Easy to install. Takes longer to take the cover off than to install. 5 minutes total. After install just follow steps on TV. Get the Full 2TB of storage.

Got this on sale. While ssds are still expensive this is definitely useful to upgrade storage on ps5. Its easy to install and does the job!

Pretty spendy, but absolutely worth it. Lightning fast load times, great capacity, and crazy easy to install. Took 2 minutes. Highly recommended.

Install took less than 5 minutes. Console started right up, recognized the drive, and set up in seconds. Couldn't have asked for it to be any easier.

Great SSD for the PS5! Read speed came in at around 6400 mbps, no problems so far and I’ve had this for a couple of months now! So nice having so much more storage!

Pricier than other 2 Tb ssd in the market but it is licensed and it stores all my games and runs fast.

PS5 internal storage needed for this generation of games. The item itself is way smaller when I saw it. Easy installation and the added space is definitely welcome.

I've sat with this for a while to make sure I was really content with it's functionality in the PS5, I have not been disappointed, honestly I've not noticed any difference in loading or any slight lag or any issues to speak of, the console doesn't seem to be much warmer, and it's not running any louder, very pleased as of this review! P.S. It was super easy to install, I took the opportunity to clean up what dust there was, if you have any apprehension just look up a guide online, and there are sale happening regularly I got mine on-sale hence my high score in value!

This storage upgrade is almost mandatory if you own a PS5. It essentially triples your storage capacity, latest update provides firmware for use, and is easy to install.
