Amazing amount of space. 2TB for the price was well worth every penny. Inexpensive for that amount of storage. Easy to install.

The WD BLACK SN850P 2TB NVMe SSD for PS5 is a must-get upgrade. It's reliable, fast, easy to install, and should store games for as long as you own and use your PS5. This adds 2TB on top of the default 600GB of console storage. Furthermore, all PS4 games can be stored on an external SSD. So this is internal SSD essentially ensures your PS5 can download any game going forward.

With how large games are on PS5 i need more storage ASAP. I was tired of having to delete and redownload games so bought this on sale and love it. Just as fast if not faster. So far had no issues with it and my main games that i actually do play often. Definitely been telling friends to buy one! Installation is also very easy and fast.

This is literally just a rebadged SN850x. This is one of the best pcie gen 4 drives on the market next to the 990 pro. Great drive, works as advertised. I used this in my PC, the only thing I will say is if you need to remove the heatsink it has a small thermal glue to keep the drive secured. This is a benefit for those who want the heatsink attached. For those who need to remove it, simply use a prying tool like the ifixit "jimmy" to slowly break through the glue.

I dont know what took me so long. The game of deleting, uninstalling and reinstalling games is over. I even went back and redownloaded everything i had deleted just because i have the space now. I can not recommend enough. Was so easy to install. The freedom from the burden of space is worth the price alone. The question shouldnt be if you should get it, but more about how much space you can get. I debated between the 1tb and 2tb for a while and caught the 2 on a sale. I dont think i need more than that but GTA 6 could make me change my mind haha so far though, best purchase I made since buying the console.

Easy to connect kinda pricey but most worth it can play many games

I love how much more space I have on my PS5. It took me barely 5 minutes to install this and have my system back together and connected to my TV. The speed is amazing and you see no dropoff from built in memory.

The installation was very easy, and the steip on the PS5 was aw well. I could immediately set my game downloads to the SSD and have already downloaded a dozen games on it. It works wonderfully, no issues whatsoever.

Setup took minimal time and required 1 small screwdriver. Simple instillation and, after a quick update, my storage increased. Download speeds have been fast and I’ve yet to notice any input or output delay from video games stored on it. I honestly wish I bought it sooner.

The easiest upgrade and it made accessing games so much less of a hassle! I should have done this sooner, but I did not realize how simple it was to add storage. Sony made accessing the port a breeze with a tooless removal for the outer shell. After that, one screw holds on the cover where the drive goes, plug the drive in, put it back together, turn on the PS5 and follow the on-screen instructions. You can then use the storage settings menu to quickly transfer your data from the small drive that it came with, to your much larger secondary drive! No more having to constantly delete games to sdd a new one!!

Fast SSD, easy to install once you figure out how the side plastic on the PS5 works. Feels like it's made out of quality material, and it has a built in heat sink!
