Just kidding! Lotta PS5 games!! It provides a lot of fun! PS4, PSVR2, and so much more!!! All on this contraption

So I bought this in preparation for the PS5 Pro. Have a 2TB WD SSD in my launch PS5. Moved over the contents of that drive to an external SSD. Removed it and put in the SN850X. The PS5 recognized it immediately. I am currently moving everything from the external SSD to it so when I get my pro all I have to do and remove it and put it in. Same exact specs as the Playstation branded model for $100 less. Plus got a $50 gift card for spending over $500. If I had to nit pick anything its that Best Buy shipped it in a non padded bag. Luckily it was fine but you'd think they would ship a $900 SSD in a box or at the very least a padded bag. ***Do better Best Buy!!!*** Also want to say this is my 2nd time purchasing anything at Best Buy in over 2 years. I bought an open box portal while visiting family up north a week earlier and then decided I probably would not use it so returned it at my local Best Buy in FL I had planned on getting the 4 TB drive but then decided to go for the 8TB. And I was in Best Buy every week before. I was really annoyed with how they handled the change to the Rewards program. Not that they changed it because I get things change. What annoyed me is that I was Elite Plus for many years and when they changed it they took away 7 months of Elite Plus status that I spent close to 6k the year before to get. So I decided I would take my money elsewhere. And I did for 2 years. But gotta be honest it felt good walking in there. The employees in my area are top notch and are always ready to help.

This product is great its storage is definitely worth it with how much space games take up.

Best 8TB SSD for PlayStation 5 or computer! Works great, real fast. Plenty of storage space; reads as full 8TB in my PS5. Loving it.

If you have a PS5 this is a must have. You also have access to the complete 8TB. Pricey?! Absolutely!! Is it worth it?! ABSOLUTELY!!!

I have been using this for a couple of months in my PS5 and it works great.

Plug and play almost. No drama, no hassle and you 8GB of fast storage. Installed this a while back and still works in a Dell gaming desktop.

The perfect storage capacity space for those that play a lot of PS5 and/or PS4 games. The 8tb will last the entire generation. If and when it goes on sale, I highly recommend. This can also be used for PC, so another plus.

I am very happy with the WD black. I have four of them in my PC to one of my PS5 and swear by them. I moved from Samsung to WD because I've been so happy with the performance.

I purchased 3 of these drives and 1 has failed already. Sandisk/WD has made it difficult to even register these drives for RMA. I work in IT and it is unacceptable that an NVME drive fails after less than 90 days.

Bought this to expand my Storage in my PS5 after coming back from work it almost bricked my system. when I removed the SSD my PS5 was fine thankfully. I don't recommend this SSD at all. also Shame on Sony for not addressing this issue.

Might want to check out the SanDisk site. They ship direct and are significantly lower priced than BB on WD Black NVME products as of this date
