I got this because it was on sale. I'm not a big fan of the kind that you push out, but this one kind of locks out with minimal effort. Easy to retract but stays in place when you insert into usb slot.

Western Digital HD was a close replacement to what was is the system. It is running smoothly.

My hardrive was corrupt geek squad installed the new HD it’s working absolutely perfect was able to reinstall 3/4 of my information but none the less it was a great investment

The larger disk comes in handy. I have a lot of pictures and do Karaoke. All that takes a lot of disk space. Only setback was my laptop manufacturer didn't include installation disks, so I had to buy a copy of the OS.

What can I say it is a hard drive. Works great as expected. I have had WD and seagate drives. Bothe companies are reliable. I found this drive to be a great value for the amount fo storage

I use the hard drive mainly for storage and backup of photo files, music and other documents requiring a lot of storage space. This hard drive has more than sufficient capacity.
