    bought for a external backup drive,, works but if I would have checked 5 minutes more could have bought a desktop drive cheaper since I had a case to put it in also

    It is a decent drive. Its read write speeds are not as fast as the specs but it works good for storage drive. I would avoid using this for a boot drive

    I bought this but found that Western Digital had packaged a 1 TB solid state drive in the box instead. Drive installed nicely and runs fine.
