the hdd is really really good and its 1TB its a very good buy

I use this to store my photos. On occasion I forget to disconnect it as I'm turning off the computer - a no-no - but I haven't lost any of my thousands of important photographs. When I had a recent computer crash where I lost everything on its hard drive, even though this was connected, not a single file was lost. I highly recommend this product!

This one worked when others didn't. This lil one was the only out of 4 other brands that was recognized by mobo..Very happy

This is a nice drive that has a lot of room for the price. It is not as fast as the solid state drives but it is still faster the original drive.

I've been replacing broken disk drives for my customers for 10 years. WD is one of two brands I have been using, usually purchasing whatever is on sale. I've never had a drive be DOA. As of late I've been noticing more failures after severall years of use with the other brand, so I'm leaning towards only using WD drives from now on.

Have only had it for a few weeks, but speed and performance are comparable with the original. I hope it lasts longer than 2+ years.

You can't go wrong with Western Digital. I have purchased several WD hard drives for PCs, laptops, and other fun project upgrades (gaming consoles). Never had any failures from this quality brand.
