My computer fell of the counter, it stopped working, I took it too best buy geek squad found that the Hard Drive was damaged.they replaced it with the Hard Drive in this review,they called me the next day said it was repaired. So far so good it seems to be faster?.

This drive is fairly fast for a 1TB HDD. Has been very reliable for over 6 months with no issues.

It's Western Digital, that should be enough of a review. I have never had issues with WD hard drives that is why I keep on buying them. I have a WD hdds that are more than 10 years old and they are still kicking.

This is a great upgrade from my current laptop which only has 500 gigs on it I've been wanting to upgrade and I decided to purchase this one for a terabyte upgrade so now I have an additional 400 or maybe it was 500 gigs of additional space I can use my 500 gig was already being filled up

I kept getting blue screen errors - critical errors. They recommended replacing the hard drive. Followed thru with the recommendation and my laptop is working fine. If you do this be mindful that your Office app will not be on the new hard drive.

A solid reliable replacement hard drive. WD Blues are my go to mechanical hard drive for basic everyday use.... Great for extra space. I put these in everything that isn't getting a SSD or M.2.

Had a drive die in my brothers PlayStation, 1TB at $40 is a good deal, easy to install just take out replace and reformat the drive through the PS4 safe mode

I bought this hard drive to upgrade my ps4. The hard drive works great and I have absolutely no issues with it.

After using this drive on my DJing Mac, I love the extra space. It does however have a longer seek time which cause a millisecond of pause when loading tracks. However I have noticed an overall increase in performance as far as not harddrive intensive applications. It isn't loud but you can't hear it when it's being heavily used just a little more than the stick drive. It's perfect for the average user but I'd recommend a higher rpm if you demand ultra fast performance.

The drive preforms very well. Very easy to install. Haven't anything bad to say about it. Great drive for the price.

Very good product and reliable and quick in the ASUS Laptop to re-image to Windows 10. Western Digital gives great 2-year warranty and easy to deal with!

I use these drives for external storage. Not particularly fast, but perfect reliability. I have a Mac, and the Mac required that I first format the drive. I use a cable USB interface, and as long as I eject the drive before unplugging it, the drive works beautifully.

Great drive with lot's of space... not the fastest, but solid reliable storage, a good upgrade for my laptop.

I purchased this drive to use as a upgrade for my PS4 for more storage it boots fast and give me the storage need for my games.

One of my PC drives finally failed... Rock solid purchase from Best Buy, again I was on the road and needed to make a quick purchase and BB came to my mind and when and got it!

The hard drive migration tool worked very well and everything went smoothly. Of course, I had an external hard drive docking bay so I did not have to remove the hard drive until after the new drive was ready. Remember, memory and hard drive are the best upgrades for a laptop.
