The hard drive in my laptop died. This was the one the Geek Squad recommended for replacement. They were able to salvage all the data on my laptop and it has worked fine since.

I had an old Toshiba laptop with a 120gb hard drive and Vista. I had a new Windows 7 install and used this WD 1tb drive. It is now a nice laptop to use for my work.

Great drive, installed in my laptop without issue. Only problem was bestbuy said the had it at a location near me for pickup then notified me half a day later and had to drive an hour away cause they wouldn't ship it.

Perfect for system builders! The drives are rebranded but from a major vendor. (See the SMART data.) Decent cache strategy so good performance for general use computing.

Works great with my PS4, I wasnt sure if it would work with my PS4, no one said it would or wouldn't.

This is a pretty good drive, overall, but not one I would recommend for a performance boost. With a spindle speed of 5400 RPM, it's good for storage but I wouldn't really recommend it for a primary drive unless you're in a bind and need a good, dependable cheap drive with a lot of storage.

Had This Western digital 1TB Harddrive installed into my Hp Pavillion g6 Laptop when my Hp hard drive failed so far so good no problems runs like new with lots of space. I had it installed by geeksquad who also maintains my tech support subscription. The Geek uninstalled my old hard drive and re-installed the Western Digital and re-installed my Itunes ect... Great product

I bought this to install in my MSI gaming laptop. Format and install was a breeze.

Works for what you pay for. HDDs are old, but solid (no pun intended). Worth buying to stick into a cloud server cluster

The 750 GB hard drive in my old 2011 MacBook Pro failed. Replacing it with this was trivial and the performance of the drive has been great.

It works perfectly with the PS4! I had my doughts but if you are looking for an expansion of space or your PS4´s hard drive broke, GET THIS ONE!

Seems to be an excellent hard drive. Had no troubles installing into my laptop to replace a failing hard drive.

The Mainstream internal 1TB hard drive for laptops is a great hard drive. It works absolutely perfect, and it has no problem with the laptop's other components.

Not much to say about this. I was told it needed to be replaced so I did. My laptop is working fine.
