    I got this hard drive to backup my hard drive but wanted more than just backup. I wanted to be able to make a clone copy of my computer's hard drive that is bootable AND contains all of my programs and files so that if my current hard drive crashed, I can pull it out, replace it with the clone and quickly be working again. It took a while to do this because of almost 1 TB of info, but just let it run overnight to do so.

    I have & continue to have WD hard drives in my equipment. They have proven very reliable. The only sour note is that this drive was a replacement drive for an Asus laptop purchased a little over 1 year.
