My original OEM hard drive crapped out and luckily figured it out before it damaged the motherboard. After researching and comparing different makes and models, I chose this WD 1 TB Mainstream because of the price and previous experience with WD as well as it being as advertised very quiet and efficient. Why spend a lot more when this does the job quite well. And it does not matter what mfr your laptop is.

Got this to upgrade my ps4 HD and this product worked perfectly. Easily assembly into ps4, works super fast with data transfer and minimum lag with load times and saving. Highly recommend!

Used this to replace a dying PS3 hard drive. Does everything I need it to do and does it as fast as SATA I will allow. Great drive and since my other one is over 7 years old and still working this should be a good replacement.

I looked around a while for a 1TB hard drive to replace the stock one in my PS4. I saw this one and I installed it and haven't had a single problem with it. Plenty of room for my gaming habits I'm sitting pretty good with 600gb, And I have quite a few games that are using around 30gb. I would recommend this product.

My laptop could not reboot. Turned out the hard drive was bad. It was too expensive for me to buy a new hard drive and pay for it to be installed. I bought this product and installed it myself. It was my first time to open up a laptop and my first time to install a hardware. The product was very very easy to install for a first-timer like me. It is still working great. I recommend it.

I purchased this as additional storage to my Acer Nitro 5 laptop that only came with 256GB SSD storage. Using the 1TB as extra storage to install applications, some games, but more importantly, keeping the SSD from becoming full quickly. No complaints at this time, but do realize in today's day and age, even 1TB can be filled up pretty quickly when you can have a single game taking up to 60GB+ of data.
