Did not realize how slow and sluggish it was running until the new hard drive was installed. It has made a world of difference to change out the Hard Drive. Best Buy Geeks did a great job in fixing the problems.

This hard drive is great for small server/NAS projects and the price point is set just right to buy multiple and have on had when needed. Always great service at my local McDonough Best Buy and the in store pick up keeps us moving and configuring new server ideas.

No, it's not as fast as a SSD, but for a laptop hard drive where lots of storage space is needed this has been my go-to drive. I replace a lot of bad hard drives, and I've replaced far less WD drives than any other brand.

I run an IT company and trust WD for my PCs. They last a very long time and very durable. I installed this in a Dell Optiplex Desktop and was very fast. I highly recommend using WD.

In getting my laptop repaired, the tech discovered that the internal drive needed to be replaced. He specified this product. My old laptop is performing better than it did when it was new. I can now take my time researching its replacement.

The new hard drive for my computer works very well. The computer and internet runs faster. It is quicker at starting on the Microsoft Edge, and easier in managing on the internet.

When the current hard drive started sending "immenent disk failure" messages, on the advice of our IT repairman, bought this hard drive. We would/could not have done the work but IT copied the existing drive to this drive, popped it in and everything worked perfectly

My hard disk was beginning to get filled up and needed additional space. Purchased a larger drive for my main drive and used old drive as an external drive for added storage space and backups... Working great so far...

My ASUS drive died after about 2 years. Replaced with this one. Right price for a 1 T unit. So far its great - we'll see about the reliability as I don't replace stuff if its useful.

Worked great as a replacement hard drive for my sons PS4

I purchased this as a replacement for the bad hard drive on my PS4 and my PS4 is finally running smoothly for the first time in months. Great price and fit perfectly into my PS4.

I purchased this as a direct replacement for the 1TB HDD that died in my Dell laptop. That was a total failure, just doesn't even respond to anything anymore, so decided to replace ... but have not cracked the laptop yet. Best Buy's on-line order and immediate delivery to the door was fantastic, no complaints! IF I have any unexpected issues with installation, I'll add an edit to the review, but do not expect it! THX Best Buy!

My hard drive went out for whatever reason, and I was easily able to go into Best Buy and purchase this hard drive and install it in my laptop myself. Works as good as the original that was in my laptop.

This drive works great! Performs well and is silent. This is just the drive mechanism, so you'll need to reuse the mount in your computer if replacing a drive. You'll need a mount if you are installing this in a new computer build.
