I really liked this 2.5" 1 TB drive. Installed it on my 2007 MacBook Pro 15" and it works great. Finally able to have a large library of movies, music and pictures. Performance is about the same as my old drive. Great price too!

For $50, one TB seems fair. Super easy to install, works flawlessly. Install took about two minutes.Had to be formatted, took awhile, but very satisfied.

I had heard lots of stuff about different internal HD's but this is the one that stuck in my head. It was a sinch to install and get up and running, and the full TB is more than I will use. I highly reccomend this item.

Hdd gets the job done for holding documents, images and videos for either businesses or educational higher learning courses in notebooks. Would recommend as the go to for a basic upgrade.

I have never attempted to replace a laptop hard drive and, although there was a bit of a learning curve, I was able to accomplish it! The drive is quiet, as promised, and I now have the space needed to store and produce my music projects. The salesman (and saleswoman) who helped me, each, on two different days (as I was gathering the courage to try this upgrade) were helpful, knowledgeable, new exactly what I needed and were honest about what I DIDN'T need! I appreciated that!! I only spent what I needed to spend, got a great deal on the drive, confirmed my procedures with the salespeople, and successfully installed the new drive. I've been working my laptop hard for the last month and couldn't be happier! I would definitely buy WD drives/products again.

We're using this drive as storage for periodic backups on a desktop machine. It was designed for laptop use, so it can handle ~100k startup cycles, since laptops often stop hard drives to conserve power. If we idle the driver after doing a backup, it should last for a very long time.

My girlfriend gave me this HDD to upgrade my PlayStation 4's memory and it works like a charm!! It is actually fasted even though the HDD that came with the console was a 5200 as well! Great product!

Western Digital has always been very reliable. Easy install on my friend's laptop, needed a new hard drive.

I bought this for a MacBook laptop. It was easy to install and using and OS X disk, I formatted the disk and installed the operating system. This was an excellent buy.
