My son needed more space on his xbox. I tried to figure out the bestway to fix the issue. I was on here just looking when the idea came to mind. We're using this drive as storage for periodic backups on a desktop machine. It was designed for laptop use, so it can handle ~100k startup cycles, since laptops often stop hard drives to conserve power. If we idle the driver after doing a backup, it should last for a very long time.
