    The laptop would not detect the OEM drive, so I needed a replacement. This drive installed, I loaded the OS, and it has been great ever since.

    Great drive but is a bit loud at times when multi functions occur. Load time is exceptional. Western Digital is a great product that will last. But if you want a less noisy drive just choose a different one n check noise level.

    IT APPEARS TO BE OPERATING VERY WELL AND PRIOR FUNCTIONS AND PROGRAMS ARE OBTAINABLE.THAT WERE WINDOWS 8.1 TRANSITION TO WINDOW 10.

    I was having issues with my laptop and found out that the hard drive was corrupted. I went to best buy and they suggested I get this, and so far it's been working good.

    I only got this hard drive because of the suggestion from the geek. Mine was said to be broken be yet i was told that i could buy a computer connection for my old to the new and transfer all info. Seems that if i could do that it wasn't broke?
