This HDD has been good so far and replaced an aging one on my Toshiba P75 laptop.

I wanted a faster hard drive but they didn't have it in stock. I needed my computer fixed and back working. So far, it's working good. A few times it feels like it takes longer to do something than my previous faster hard drive.

Connected this HD and sent an disk image to it without issue. Worked as designed.

One thing about Western Digital Hard Drives is that they come with a great hardware warranty without any fuss from them.

Bought this for my daughters laptop when hers went out. WD is a good company with quality products.

Even though no one in the store helped me find it. It was easy to install and I got the correct one.

I wanted to speed up my Dell i5 Inspiron 3650 desktop so I thought a new HDD would help. This product is MUCH slower than the Toshiba 1TB 3.5” SATA 5400 RPM that came with my Dell. Maybe the 3.5” version would have been faster but I didn’t go that route. Here’s what you SHOULD DO: I bought a 1TB WD SSD 3D NAND SATA 2.5” and installed it, cloned my existing Toshiba HDD with Macrium (free software) onto the SSD and then removed the Toshiba and used the SSD as the C drive. All operations, including boot up, now FLY! I give THAT product - the SSD 3D - a 5 out of 5 star rating. The SSD is also a 2.5” SATA device. It cost me $139 while this HDD costs $90 less, but it was WELL worth it. If you have the $139 to spend then avoid ANY HDD and go SSD 3D NAND. If not, I would choose my Toshiba 3.5” HDD 1TB that came with my Dell over this product, but keep in my the 2.5” vs 3.5” difference so that is not an apples to apples comparison. Since this product works I could not give it less than 2 stars to be fair, but the 2 star rating should tell you to get a faster product unless you are on a 2 star budget. If anyone needs more specifics on how to install or clone to an SSD don’t worry - I was a newbie at this but found tons of beginner internet articles describing the tasks.

Bought this to replace my 500GB. So far I have had no problems and the capacity is enough to save large amounts of photos or videos.

Best Buy did a great job with my computer. We are all very happy that the computer is working again.
