Truly Plug-n-Play

My 15 yr old son opened up the access panel, unplugged the old drive, popped in the new drive and loaded the OS. He had it running inside of an hour without my help so I'm definitely giving this two thumbs up. He's been running his laptop daily since then and still no problems (8 weeks now).

Great investment for the price

I looked online and did some research and found this HDD on sale. It was a quick install, easily restored OS X back onto my machine, got all of the updates with ease. This HDD is quiet and has a decent speed. Boot up time is about the same as prior drive. I wanted the 1TB Hybrid HDD but due to my machine showing immediate signs of death, I wasn’t taking any chances on losing my data I’ve had for over 5 years. Bottom line...decent drive, quiet, average speed great price.
